Years ago while still in new age, I remember reading a comment made by some guy who had a "near death experience". He emphatically said that we save ourselves. I remember that my heart fell and was so disappointed. Even though I was deceived by new age even at the time I remember saying "Nooo!!! I don't want to save myself. I want to be saved by some one who isn't me!" Thank you Jesus for saving me from new age!

Me too. I've always looked for a savior in the wrong places, men, cults, books, programs, etc. Each time I ended up worse off than before. So glad to find there really is a savior in the world and trying to follow him now. I don't want to be my own savior, I got exhausted trying to figure it out alone, I can't do it alone

What is it about our broken nature that drives us to desire access to secret knowledge rather than the plain truth revealed by Christ in His own words? Yep, a,’friend,’ told me I wasn’t to talk about God with her recently. She has religion confused with God, and believes in a mish mash of new age stuff that has no basis, except it makes her feel nice. She expects to talk to me about that, and I’m not, ‘ allowed,’ to have input. I’m praying for her and my whole family as I’ve suffered a lot of abuse, spiritual and rage. I had backsliden from the Lord and got the kundalini spirit from yoga and meditation. I remember satan trying to convince me that we are all our own God. If I hadn't experienced Jesus, I would have believed it. Thank the Lord he's been healing and delivering me. It is worse that you know Him and walk away then then go back. It's been difficult, with the warfare.

Sister, I have been studying& often times the Lord will teach me biblical doctrine& then lead me to lightly study the false doctrines& compare them to the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is the Lord that leads me that I may be ready to refute& witness to the lost; otherwise I wouldn't dare. Side Note; I, too, correct many people on their idea of "Christians" murdering many, and correct them. At times, I couldn't even understand what he was saying, partly because of being on guard by the Holy Spirit. Listen, the spiritual seduction was so powerful& he used biblical verbiage to gratify the flesh. The deception is apparrent for me, because I have the Holy Spirit, but if I didn't I can see how so many get caught up in this dangerous deception. It is so dangerous for those who do not know Christ. What you have been delivered from is a miracle!! I have heard about the false visions, false christs, the euphoria; satan actually uses sensory perception to deceive many. Basically, giving false feelings, false visions, false aliens; to feed the deception he has planted. I want to exhort you; sister you are a mighty warrior in Christ Jesus. You are beautiful& I am so proud of you in Christ. Your love for Him& the Truth is definitely a testimony to His power& grace!

I have found that we are subject to allowing the enemy to pull us into a situation where we get caught up in trying to dissect our old self and look into the darkness with our human understanding in order to understand our battle and explain it to non-Christins, however, we don't operate on the fleshly level when dealing with the unsaved or our own battles. God will give you the wisdom on how to give them the word because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word. Even if you are only able to plant a spiritual seed that will grow in them when the Lord waters it. Since the age of 10 years old I always knew, that Jesus is my only saviour and I never doubted it. This faith made me to underestimate myself and would have hindered me to develope spiritual skills, if not I was proud enough to try to be good as much as possible just to please god and Jesus. For me it was a revelation to understand and learn the knowledges coming from the New age movement: Christ consciousness and that I'm eternal by nature. That there are higher densities meaning the seven heavens above us and that we are all one. I've got problems with that imagination we are all one at times I admit when I see the evil things done by others or even wicked thoughts I myself think sometimes, but the ideas help me to verify my Christian faith in alignment with my scientific knowledges. I remember to have remembered as a three year old child that I have lived before I was born and had probably more than one past life and so nobody can stop me from believing in reincarnation. But the imagination we are just other versions of one being triggers me more. We don't understand a lot of things and bringing in the faith there is no time at all brings my three dimensional imaginations up-side-down anyway. If I can save myself or not is not my point any more, because I don't need to be without Jesus. I will not ignore the spiritual skills in alignment with New age movement and I praise these people to make me understand the world and worlds I live in more, but I don't say: now I know everything one hundred percent for sure how it works and how my ascension takes place. I'm aware there could be errors in my understanding. The oneness could not be identical with god/source, for example, but we human beings and entities of all kind are just images, that look like god. I'm still sure we need that saviour Jesus. And it is Jeschua who died on a cross for us and was beaten by our sins, mine, too. I don't need to be without Jeschua, my saviour, but Jesus didn't forbid me to think and I wanted to understand everything. The knowledge I won from New Age is not a hindrance to my personal Christian faith, which is not identic to Christian faithes in churches and that's why I always take sides for faithes located in the New Age. Many of these faithes are as true as the sentence: "Jesus is my saviour!" and should no longer be forbidden to think! The Christian churches have to adjust to this new freedom of thinking or they die. I don't want them to die, but the dark ages are over! People have to adjust to the ascension of the earth itself and to the fact that planet earth is no longer shielded from the rest of the universe! Jesus was our saviour and still is, but now we have to show we can become nearly as good as he is! Or we remain fools for the rest of our lives! That's my opinion!

Any knowledge I gained from God, was followed up with lessons in humility. The problem I see is I went through the same delusion and seeing how I was delusional, I couldn't suggest anything related to the messiah complex. Amen!!! If your friend is actually interested in finding God challenge him to ask God, like you, like me, who are You God? Challenge him to read the New Testament from Matthew to Revelation twice. If he is unwilling he doesn’t want to really know. If he does, because the Word is living and powerful and sharper than a sword, able to pierce people’s hearts and soften them, he may have his eyes opened. God is able. Then it will be his choice. So glad you finally found the One True God and our Savior, the only Way, the only Truth and the only Life. 😊❤️. Everything else is our own deceitful and wicked hearts ideas, keeping back from God, often without even realizing it and many times thinking we are more intellectual and higher than others for being more ‘enlightened’ when really it’s just another form of self-love!!! I realise your context was dealing with self empowerment V's Christ acceptance but it seems to me these can be one in the same thing. I'm trying to say this as a brother. I am someone who believes Satan is merely St Peter's guardian angel and that acceptance of St Peter means forgivness of his Angel also, without worshipping it. He is a tester but one sanctioned by God who never gives us anything we can't handle. Now Jesus has risen to his father there is no need to worry about Satan, is my take, but to overcome our selfishness to live forever with him. Could this fit into your paradigm? Are souls responsible for their sins? Absolutely, and Jesus said so. It is right to confess your sins to God, and ask for Forgiveness, yes, but you must from then on live a life of Love to God (which every thing, and person, and thy self). The spirit of God is the very light of life in you, without it nothing would exist. Jesus said once : does your book not tell you, you are Gods (Psalm 82:6, John 10:34). The Bible clearly states what the fruits of the Spirit is. There is no question. You only need to read Genesis and how Eve and Adam partook of the knowledge, and you see what happens. God is very clear on these things.

Teara Lewis Thanks for your reply. Knowledge is also spoken of in other parts of the bible in a positive sense though. "He who strays from correction strays from knowledge" and other parts I'm sure exist but I do not recall. I have seen what gave me knowledge about our nothingness in the past, which helped me see the futility of doubt and the immense hope for worldly matters that exists with angels, but it made me sad immediately too. I'll admit it also made it hard to relate to the excitement of worldly things and peoples attachment for them also for a time to the point of a hopelessness too, as there can be danger all around. My point is, what if that knowledge had merely a timing problem, and that God can always bring good out of evil. What if we ARE meant to live in the fullness of knowledge, like the cherubim's name, but sifting through the lies of origin as to delivery medium and what if knowledge in itself isn't the problem but the problem is our pride in disobedience?

Many people dont get any response from praying to Jesus. New age tought me how to pray correctly and do the right things to bring positive energy into my life and it saved my life. Christ Consciousness & what God wanted us to learn & live by isn't the same as feeling small, guilty or shamed that because you are human you must be dirty or imperfect, therefore God literally separates from you & lives Up there ☝ while we are down here. That we have to constantly endure situations & conditions that only keep you down & always a victim, small & helpless 😑 While this was acceptable for the Time & Place this came from, it isn't acceptable now. People are actually better than this 2000 year old negative perception primarily from the Old Testament came from. Naturally they have to be. You see Life isn't about feeling this way or living in fear, it's supposed to be about Growth, Change & Advancement. Becoming a better person & Human Being doesn't mean taking giant steps backwards & trying to live from a world & way of thinking that's thankfully long gone, so what's left? Remember what Jesus taught & he not once ever taught people who followed that God required so many unnecessary & excessive conditions like being afraid of God & fear of Judgement & Punishment so much that belief actually negatively impacted your life. No actual loving & compassionate human being would ever live this way or do the complete opposite of what Jesus taught, which is just to Love & be Compassionate to other people without attacking them or judging them or trying to put all this in a way that tears down others & excludes them. Jesus actually welcomes all to the table regardless of what taught you everything & everyone had to be separate & opposed. Look what this did in history 😐 It have rise to terrible forms of Government & provided a convenient justification to murder & destroy other people & cultures who were different & had every right to be. This caused more problems than it solved & deviated all of our destinies in a way. It only stifles futures, it never created them. Would Jesus approve of this video which technically only demonizes other people & what they believe & live by? No, he wouldn't 😑 While people are finally at long last figuring out what God & Jesus wanted people to achieve in life & build on, so they can be inspired & actually strive for something that's actually positive & future building, you are literally doing to opposite which only uses fear, guilt & shame to trap people psychologically in a belief that's only being used to keep humanity back & under control. This only leads ultimately to stagnation & dead ends eventually, creating beginning & end. A vicious cycle ⭕🔄 that only denies people their lives & futures. That's what the Alpha & Omega really is - a cycle that's now over, it must be in order for people to achieve what they must, what they're meant to do. We are all here to do what we are here to do & it's far from being a servant to a perception of God that isn't even remotely true. It's a flipped opposite. God is Life, Light, Love, Spirit AND Heart so how can this opposite ever be true? Jesus is the Way, The Truth & The Life but what was the main source of all of this? It wasn't just Spirit or Faith. It was Love 💖 That's the greatest & most simple truth there is. Love isn't fear & never will be. Not will one justify the other. I see you are young yet. Much too young to be thinking so rigidly.... Surely there was a time you dreamed of a life you wanted. It's a goal God actually wanted you to achieve. There is an understanding that has always been very hard to grasp. Just trust in God to work all things out. ,,,but don't be stupid. You have a God instilled right to protect your family, home, and country. Satan is our enemy, and we are not directed to love him. Also, Jesus said you would have enemies in your own household. and also ;He that hates not father, and mother ,and even his own life more than me cannot be my disciple. -My point is that you need to know what Jesus is talking about by getting to know Jesus.
