My sister would have loved to hear this. Unfortunately she passed away last year. She attended there in 1978, and I went there in 1980. Her favorite song leader was Mike Massa. Thanks for your work here.

If only CFNI would release the gems in digital form. I know that the quality of the recordings may not match their contemporary equivalents, yet there is a certain anointing that can’t be found in modern day tunes....

This sure does take me on a trip in the way back machine! I was a student from '80 & graduated in '82, then returned with my then husband for the summer of '83 & all of '84. I have all the worship cassettes but I'm not sure of their quality. I wish they could put these earlier worship albums on CD! These songs have what I find sorely lacking in today's worship music - God's anointing! Thank you for putting these together!

My uncle the late Rev.Dr.R.Joseph Skinner from Shillong India introduced to all the praise worship songs from CFNI from the mid 1970’s onward and we grew with that worship movement till today.He graduated fro CFNI in 1973. I am a graduate of 2000.Thanks for sharing John. We love CFNI.

Absolutely marvellous John. These are precious, 'my words they are spirit and they are life', Jesus said. Churches don't sing these anymore. The anointed word put to music, love itIt's all this Hillsong top ten -no comparison. Brought back memories of friends, now gone, thirty years ago.

Thank you, John. I, too, find it a bit sad that The Church has chosen to abandon these songs; these are The Word of God-of the Spirit-and are life itself. For me, they not only stir up emotions and precious memories, but usher me into the presence of our heavenly Father. I cherish my time at CFNI (mid-'80s). These are the songs we sang daily; they changed my life.

John - thanks for posting (as many have said!). We had a house fire in 2008 and lost all our CFNI and Church of the King music from "the old days" (ok - our time there anyway - 78-87). These are a blessing! Bill and Theresa

Hi John, I write from Chile very happy to find these songs that ever came into our hands in the 80s, a cassette "Preaise to Immanuel" many years listening to it ... even without knowing English ... but we are glad the heart and he encouraged us. A few years ago we lost the cassette and until yesterday I found this video, we could hear some songs that are in this collection. Gracias por compartir estos cánticos...sabes cuando era niño mi llegó a manos de mi papá este casette " Praise to immanuel" lo escuchamos mucho aunque no entendiamos ingles 😃...pero nos bendecía y nos alegraba el corazón. Ese casette se perdió y nunca más lo pudimos escuchar hasta que encontré tu canal donde tienes está compilación con algunas de esas canciones . Te quería preguntar si lo tienes completo ese disco " Praises to Immanuel" o esas canciones Chousen Generation" porfavor respóndeme y dime cómo puedo volver a escuchar esos cánticos.
