The Christenson Cafe Racer I have been riding is the stock 5’8 x 20 x 2 1/2, and is roughly around 30 - 31 liters.
I’ve had the Christenson Cafe Racer for a few months and have been able to surf it across a whole variety of conditions from 1-2 foot shorebreaks, through to really good 5-6ft waves. The Christenson Cafe Racer surprisingly holds it’s own across all these conditions.
The Christenson Cafe Racer is a great board for someone who potentially wants a one board quiver. Personally I loved that I could take it down to the beach with my family for the day, and regardless of the conditions I could jump out for a surf on the Christenson Cafe Racer and know I was going to have a good surf!
With volume under the chest, a healthy distribution of foam throughout the board, and a nice forgiving rail, the Christenson Cafe Racer makes for a board that makes surfing fun and easy.
I rode the Christenson Cafe Racer as a quad using the Futures Fins Danny Fuller Quad Fins. These are a quad set I had primarily used in larger step-up boards, but for some reason they felt really good in the Christenson Cafe Racer.
I used the Astrodeck “Flat & Fast” pad on the Christenson Cafe Racer.
