Christian and Ava Cooper - A Closer Look Behind The Screen

Young brother-and sister team Christian Michael Cooper and sister, Ava, join us for this candid interview as they talk about their passion for acting, hobbies and school.
Christian and Ava do not only light up the screen with their talent and dedication for their craft,. These siblings are gracious and grounded and are a pleasure to talk to! Check out our conversation and find out why they are two of the most adorable achievers we have in the film industry!

Hobbies - Skiing, mountain biking, soccer (since he was 5), fishing, fly fishing
Always a happy and outgoing child, Christian booked his first commercial when he was just over a year old for a Hasbro and continued booking different commercials such a Kraft, Ikea etc. At 5 years old, he took an interest in film and TV and within the first month, booked his first recurring role on a series called Cult and then proceeded to book other movies and Series. Christian has done a few shorts, one was Noel's story which won an award. His film Sidekick with Josh Dallas and Emily Bett Rickards won some awards in the YEA, YAA and Joey's. Christian also appeared in Edge of Seventeen. The Crossing, When Calls The Heart, Beyond, Multiple Hallmark movies, When Calls The Heart (S3-8), Wayward Pines, Some Assembly Required etc.
Prison Break is his most notable film as he portrayed young Mike Scofield. Not to be forgotten is his role as the young Sam Winchester in Supernatural in the last season. Christian has a most recent recent project in the works!

Ava is sweet, happy and outgoing has always loved singing, dancing and acting from the time she was little -- and we're talking 2 years old! Dancing since was a toddler, Ava continues to excel in ballet, competitive jazz and hip hop and contemporary. Our young actress is a soccer enthusiast and loves singing, skiing and swimming. She has one more talent that's not to be ignored: crafts!
Ava started film when she was about 4 with a couple of short films after which, she booked her first role on Edge of Seventeen. Shortly after, she booked the role as Opal on When Calls the Heart which she still holds today. Ava, like Christian, has been in this series for the last 6 years. Some other films that Ava has been a part of are Beyond (2 seasons), Hallmark movies like A Summer Romance (with Erin Krakow), Holiday Date, A Midnight Kiss, Mingle All the Way. Falling For Vermont, The Sweetest Christmas etc. Some others were Miracle Season (with Helen Hunt), iZombie, 50 States of Fright, Supernatural and When Time Got Louder (for release).
