I will admit this one is a little on the edge, but I've been wanting to create this idea for months now. Just to state the obvious this is a roleplay... there is no such thing as a sin measuring clinic. Also, this video was done from the perspective of an unbeliever coming to get measured. I hope you guys enjoy the sounds and the message and make sure to hit the like button if you think it deserves it :)
TRIGGERS: soft-speaking, whispering, unintelligible whispering, measuring sounds, pencil writing sounds, and keyboard typing

“The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” has been one of my favorite lines ever since I was a kid, there was a song in church we used to sing with that sentence and I always loved it. It reminds me a lot of my grandma also because we used to sing church songs together and she would sometimes sing them to me to help calm me down because I have really bad anxiety and ADHD which was way worse when I was a kid. Also I really loved this video, it’s super creative, insightful, truthful, and nonjudgmental. It’s great to hear somebody talk about sin in a nonjudgmental way because at the end of the day we really are all sinners, even the people we love the most have sinned countless times. Personally I think that my current biggest sins might be gluttony and laziness. I have so much trouble with motivating myself and I definitely have some kind of food/sugar addiction. I often do feel weak when it comes to giving into food cravings that I have but if I stop to remind myself that Jesus suffered and died on the cross for us, I can probably force myself to do something as simple as choosing to eat a piece of fruit instead of a donut or start my homework a day early instead of waiting until the last minute lol

pray & ask God to deliver you from your sin! He will, you just have to be willing to give it up. ”No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.“ ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭13‬ ‭God bless you!!

Been there brother! I found this prayer by Thomas Aquinas that helped me immeasurably with my own struggle in pornography. I pray it whenever I feel tempted. I put the prayer in here in case you want to use it. "Dear Jesus, I know that every perfect gift, and especially that of chastity, depends on the power of Your providence. Without You a mere creature can do nothing. Therefore, I beg You to defend by Your grace the chastity and purity of my body and soul. And if I have ever imagined or sensed anything that could stain my chastity and purity, blot it out, Supreme Lord of my powers, that I may advance with a pure heart in Your love and service, offering myself on the most pure altar of Your divinity all the days of my life. Amen." I will remember you in my prayers, and may God bless you in your pursuit of purity.

Continue to pray, don’t give up! don’t listen to the lies of the enemy. every sin begins in your thought, before it becomes a reality. Use 2 Corinthians 10:5 every time the thought and the desire comes up to counteract it, continually rebuke the thoughts till it goes away. Ask God to give you the grace to overcome lust and all desires of the flesh. Ask him to uproot the desire for lust and immorality.

I'm not convinced lust is necessarily the root issue. Finding others attractive (and having a desire for sex/intimacy) isn't sinful, and lumping every single component of porn addiction into the category of "lust" isn't especially helpful, nor is it accurate. I think disappointment is probably a big cause for a lot of people. Life isn't what we hoped, so how do we deal with the disappointment? Ideally, take it to God and converse with the Holy Spirit to receive His perspective, comfort, and healing. But it's quicker and easier to force our brain into producing serotonin (and it's free, and doesn't have obvious immediate consequences). No wonder it becomes a go-to "solution" for many of us. Even though we know it leaves us feeling dissatisfied in the end -- because what we really wanted was holistic intimacy (including emotional, not just physical) -- we often don't recognize the things that are actually driving us to keep those patterns. And even when we do recognize them, it can be a lengthy process to allow God to heal and assure our hearts, counteract the lies that have kept us stuck, and lead us into healthy and fulfilling ways of dealing with life's disappointments. (Not that disappointment is always the issue; that's just an example.) But the importance of making this sort of distinction is that shame only keeps us stuck. "Man's anger doesn't produce God's righteousness." (James 1:20) Our frustration with our own behavior will never, ever produce the fruit of the spirit. Rather, "it's the goodness of God that leads you to repentance." (Romans 2:4) For the vast majority of people, the solution isn't being "delivered" from porn addiction because for most it's a soul-ish issue, not a demonic issue. Ask God to show you (and pay attention to your own thoughts and feelings to see) why you go to porn, what you're *really* hoping to get from it, and ask God for a better solution. It's not easy, and it's not quick -- but it's real, and it will produce results that waiting on a miracle never could.

For those feeling the burden and the weight of sin on their lives, I’d like to offer 2 points of encouragement and comfort. 1) you don’t have to clean up your life and stop sinning to come to God. Romans 5:8 makes it clear: “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were STILL sinners, Christ died for us.” 2) no matter what or how much sin and evil you’ve done in your life, no sin is too big to be forgiven and washed clean by the blood of Christ. In 2 Corinthians 12:9 God says “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come BOLDY to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace in time of need.

1 John 1:8-10 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. Lamentations ch 3 :22 It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. 24 The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

I have been recently thinking about religion recently. I grew up lukewarm with a semi religious household. I completely gave up on religion eventually and I’m not going to lie I haven’t been the best person in a previous time . I was gossiping, I was unfortunately sucked into a situationship with someone and felt so used. I started questioning things about 2 weeks ago. I feel like what had me asking questions about if god is here because I was hoping somehow my childhood pet of almost 12 years passed away and I am hoping he is in a good place. I’m currently 21 about to graduate college, I have a wonderful boyfriend of almost one year now. As of late Ive been thinking about why I’m me and why I’m here against the odds of all of it, I’ve been thinking there has to be a reason. I really want to turn my life around. It’s only been about a week and a half or so of trying to walk the walk and I feel happier and better about starting to follow some of the teachings like avoiding gossip. I still don’t know where I stand 100% on whether or not he’s real ( please don’t attack me on that I’m trying to figure life out) but there has to be something out there I’d think. Baby steps I guess.

It’s awesome that you’re even considering this. There is more to creation than just the material, and God is real. It’s our relationship to God, our Creator and Savior, that defines us. If you’re wondering about if He’s real or if the Bible can be trusted, look into Christian apologetics. Daily Bread ASMR even has a video on it you should def check out. But ultimately, more than only believing God exists or following commands, Christianity is about a relationship with God and having faith in Him. I hope your journey goes well. Remember, it’s not just arriving at the conclusion that God exists, but getting to know Him personally.

give it a try, u won't regret it. U don't even need to go to church, start with praying, maybe later u could start reading the Bible... I always been a lukewarm Christian, Im still far from perfect like everyone else, but I started trying to walk in God's path a couple months ago and once u start with it, u start seeing Him more clearly, communicating with Him more often and more amazingly. If someone attacks u for your situation don't listen, being judgemental is also a sin so just forgive them and ignore them. Hope u give it a try, just asking yourself this question was a huge step so congrats for that, all the best and God bless!!

We should not focus on our sin if we believe in radical grace. While we should do what we can with God's help to repent and flee from sin, when we concentrate too much on it we fall into what the saints called scrupulosity, or self-centered obsession with the ego's moral performance and guilt. God does not want us beating ourselves up spiritually. Sin does not deserve retributive punishment, but corrective, restorative punishment.

As wild as this sounds its quite honest on who you are and it says something for you to acknowledge that because many people won't and think it's alright. I'm praying for you, remember to pray about it to Him yourself. That's one of the ways to building a relationship with Jesus. Think about it like this: if He choose to be beaten, humiliated then killed for you (also consider how one of the greatest ways to show your love for someone is by sacrificing yourself, we see it all the time in media, and are like "wow what a hero!") Then think about how much more lovely it is to build a relationship with someone who has done that for you.

First to acts 3:19 in the bible Everytime you sin that brings us far from God which is why God gives us a conviction that's the holy Spirit talking to us the holy Spirit is the father he is everything sometimes we wonder if God is talking to us but let's get an example someone told us something we did not like but we are like I have to get revenge but God says love our enemies my point is that Everytime god is talking to you and giving you that huge conviction like you being god i sinned today i feel empty my lord i feel like i got distanced from you but reality got does not look at how many times we sinned he looks at our heart. To repent tell God that you have sinned and tell him to forgive you everyday that passes by make sure you always tell him thank you everyday and sorry every day for everything you have done if you sinned right now or anything you bring it to God and you tell him everything like he is your father your best friend it's a 1v1 relationship with you and him and since you told him to forgive you god already when you tell him does he does he always will and you will always have a faith in you because God knows everything now since you repented do not go back because God says in his word we ask him to forgive him but then we just go back so he realizes you need more time and he gives you more time and then he delivers you for you not to go back to your old habits again you have to discipline because God says in his word that help me help you in Jesus name ask God everything how do I repent bring everything to God. God bless you ok have a good night

Hello! I hope my response is helpful to you! Please keep in mind I’m not a teacher or anything, always search the scriptures yourself and pray for wisdom. My short answer: Repentance is a change of mind about God and sin that leads us to love and obey God while hating and turning away from sin. This occurs by His grace, through faith in Jesus, empowered by His Spirit. This involves a genuine Godly sorrow over our sins (2 Corinthians 7:10), confessing our sins to God (1 John 1:9), and forsaking our sins (2 Timothy 2:19). My long answer: The Strong’s concordance defines repentance as “a change in one’s mind.” However, in the context of scripture, I believe it can be better understood as a change in one’s mind that leads to / is paired with a change in one’s actions. Meaning if you truly repent, you not only change your mind about God and sin, you place faith in God, actively resist sin, and obey Him. And you are able to do this through Him and only Him (John 15:5). It’s an enduring attitude of crucifying our flesh with Christ, and walking in His Spirit. That being said, when we repent in our hearts, as many times as we have to do it, we will always come to God in prayer, voicing our sorrow for sin and pleading for forgiveness and strength to turn from it! There is no perfect formula for this, however here are some verses that might help you: 1 John 1:9 - “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Psalm 51:17 - “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.” Psalm 32:5-6 - “I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah” 2 Corinthians 5:17 - “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” The entirety of Psalm 38! When some of the Pharisees and Sadducees came to be baptized by John the baptist, he said “Bear fruit in keeping with repentance.” Then one verse later he says, “Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” (Matthew 3:8-10). This seems to connect repentance with bearing fruit. Our fruits are our works (Colossians 1:10, Galatians 5:22-23, Philippians 1:11) so if we bear fruit in keeping with repentance, this means our works will reflect our repentance / change of mind toward God and sin. (Keep in mind, we aren’t saved by doing good works, we naturally do good works through the Holy Spirit because we already are saved). Instead of bearing bad fruit from sin, we bear good fruit through God by His grace, through faith in His Son, empowered by the Holy Spirit. We don’t always do this perfectly, but through Christ all things are possible. Here are some more verses that may help you understand the relationship between true repentance and bearing fruit: 2 Chronicles 7:14 - “if My people who are called by My name humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Revelation 2:5 - “Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.” Ezekiel 18:21-22 - “But if a wicked person turns away from all his sins that he has committed and keeps all my statutes and does what is just and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. None of the transgressions that he has committed shall be remembered against him; for the righteousness that he has done he shall live.” Acts 26:20 - “but declared first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and throughout all the region of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds in keeping with their repentance.” Proverbs 1:23 - “Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.”

Ive been reading a lot of Warhammer 40k and there's so much in there that actually helps me understand God a bit better but it helps me to ask myself questions. One quote between these 2 brothers fighting goes like this "You’re still a slave, Angron. Enslaved by your past, blind to the future. Too hateful to learn. Too spiteful to prosper" When I saw this it made me stop and ask myself is that me. Ive let anger get the better of me and lashed out against God. Id get so frustrated with how things dont work out that I start saying spiteful things to Him. Hating not knowing what comes next. Hating His slow methods and infuriating love of 'process'. Ashamed of so many past mistakes I dont know how to let go of. Interestingly enough though I was also introduced to the concept of imposter syndrome through another character. Its helped me learn quite a bit about myself. I think its God's way of helping me learn despite highly likely having undiagnosed ADHD. Yeah i have horrible focus and listening skills unless im really captivated. I guess He really does know what makes me tick 😅

Bless your heart for taking time and effort into spreading Gods love and truth in the ASMR world! I became addicted to ASMR with my first daughter and her being colic it really helped me to relax. And now with my second I have Bible versus and Gods promises with the sounds of my favorite ASMR triggers! I’m grateful so now I really go to bed with God on my heart and mind and in peace knowing he’s there. Still addicted to ASMR but atleast there is God thrown in it lol 😂

Im gonna be honest, the number of sins ive commited and the severity of them would make the devil hide from me. This isnt a flex, its more like exposing my sins so that they may be absolved (hopefully)

Well, Satan is a fallen angel and has thousands of years and he is very deceiving, he wants you to think like that, but in reality there are so much demons around you telling you these lies, the only one who can clean or sins CLEAN is Jesus, our Lord he cleanses us COMPLETELY, there's no big or little sin he cannot forgive, remember that, and read more the bible PRAY for divinity protection, read the word of God, i hope this helps! Jesus loves you❤

No. Im 27 years old now, when i was in elementary/middle school i was bullied relentlessly by my "friends". I often thought about how i wished i could make them regret it. Dont let your emotions consume you. The fact thay you are questioning yourself is proof that youre not a psychopath. A psychopath would not care, and would not be internally conflicted about the mere thought of retaliation. Keep your head up. It doesnt last forever. God doesnt give us struggles we arent strong enough to overcome. You can make it. Once youre grown up, their bullying wont matter to you nearly as much as it does now.
