Really, really wonderful… Did you know that the late great Min. Thomas A. Whitfield was playing like this in the 1970’s when he served as organist for the Voices of Tabernacle in Detroit, Michigan at the then Prayer Tabernacle Church which was founded by my uncle and Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee, the late Rev. Charles A. Craig, Jr. Because of my uncle’s sudden death at the age of 39, Rev. James Cleveland inherited the responsibility to hire Thomas following the death of the world’s greatest gospel organist of all times, Alfred Bolden.
