Why did so many storylines involving Christian have to be set up to make you feel sorry for him? It’s pathetic. The BBC loves to make victims out of people who adhere to their convenient stereotypes. It’s patronising to homosexuals. That and the fact, the actor playing him looks like he could rip a yellow pages in half, so could clearly handle himself. Danny Dyer adheres to his ridiculous stereotype as a cockney (constantly throwing out pointless rhyming slang), Mr Truman’s constantly saying “yeah man” and drinking Rum, (I find that one in particular derogatory,as the poor fellas barely got any dialogue other than that). it’s a massive Freudian slip of some left wing snob, typing this out from his or her stereotypical view point. Everyone shelved in their convenient compartment, all adhering to expectation. I find it subliminally racist. Certainly not a good thing.
