Finally.. long since a video resonated with me so much. And yes to bringing Demachy back… people were too harsh and critical of the man, not knowing that he had been trying to keep the dream alive in some capacity. In with Kurkdjian and his character-less molecular citrus clean perfumes.

I would like APOM back. This 1957 to stay in 125ml. Feve delicieous back and in 40ml. Some great Demachy and FK. but the thing about these big bottles is that not many people want to buy giant bottles from Dior they want to buy about 100 mils. we want smaller bottles so that we can carry them in our handbags and take them on holiday and we don’t really want everything to be in a giant bottle. if they sell down, it’s usually because they are trying to sell us £300 bottles of perfume, instead of sticking to something a little bit more reasonable for one fragrance.

The women I was speaking to in Dior said the 40ml are all discontinued. So annoying as a 40ml would still last me years lol

I have this one, should def wear it more. The movie is coming out on Apple, maybe they are reformulating for that. It seemed a bit slept on compared to the others.

I just got mine today off of Mercari. 3-16-24I like is so much better then the New look. I have a deluxe side with purchase. Dont care for it

I don’t dislike the new New Look but is should have had a brand new name. How are you enjoying 1947? I love mine, can’t wait for summer nights as I think it will be great to wear then

This belongs to one of my most fave things from the whole line ..... am sad they decided to discontinue that , feels timeless, very elegant and uplifting for everyday!

I heard from Emitsu recently that the new version is quite aldehyde-y. He's a fan, but he did mention that he doesn't think it'll be a commercial success for the brand. Perhaps not mass appealing enough? We'll see.

For sure this is possibly my favourite MCD, perhaps in par with Dioramour. 😍 although that said, I have a little bottle of Dioriviera and I actually really like it. I’ve been wearing it a lot in the Aussie heat. I’m so sad about all of the discontinuations though 😢

I think people are being unfairly critical of Kurkdjian at Dior. I thought Dioriviera was quite a unique fragrance, well made, and pretty imaginative. I give him Kudos for not just pumping out a vanilla, a tobacco, a jasmin, a vetiver. Instead, he seems to be creating perfumes with stories, perfumes that you have to get to know.

Way different scents. This is the second video i see where it is mentioned that THE NEW LOOK 1947 is discontinued and “will be discontinued “. However it is still listed for purchase online. One size available 125ml. I’m wondering if it will actually be discontinued after it sells out.

I got headaches from his Celestias, love Grand Soir loud 1st batch and still wondering what’s wrong with the rest of the batches. Also confused why everyone hyping both BR540s. All the details are in the skin scent. All I get from scent bubble and trail are nothing more than salty sea water mixed with burnt sugar.
