Limited minutes and he made the most of them. That break on the loose ball is what really caught my attention, because normally guys of his height don't have the reaction speed to reverse course and pick up the dribble that fast. Great rim protection, fast recovery, and he's batting away rebounds for second chance opportunities. The Raptors are going to have A LOT of fun with this kid.

Nurse says he wants to reduce VanVleet's minutes which I am hesitant to believe because he has blind loyalty for the guy. Reduced minutes is better for this team.

Definitely liked what I have seen from Koloko during Summer League and preseason. Kid has game. He should be part of the rotation especially valuable when VanVleet is on the court because of his rim protection. Teams wanted versatility and they disregarded Koloko to the Raptors benefit.

Agreed... but you know us Raptors fans! The thing is... if you ask me there is SOOOOOOO MUCH TALENT in the NBA and in young players coming up. You need to be in the top 20% of the league to make a difference and that is still pretty rarified air. Look at the number of raptors who are just hovering at that level. We don't have a top 20 player yet, so I doubt we can really challenge for top 2 in the East or top 4 in the league for quite a while.

1. That was a fail and luck that it even went in 2. Jayson Tatum tripped giving him a free dunk 3. Another free dunk, defenders forgot about him 4. He didn't do anything here? He just doubled Smart and he backed off. Any 2 players can do that 5. Only nice play. Then again, it was against a 54 year old Horford so not really that impressive. 6. Grant Williams had such little respect for him that he didn't even notice him there and gave him a free block lmfao. Not a good look for Koloko when players don't even care that you're on the court.
