I grew up in a Apostolic/Pentecostal household and drifted away when I became an adult and it’s my biggest regret, I’m so glad and thankful that God is a forgiving and loving God. "Apostolic" music is good, but some of their beliefs are weird. They believe in "Jesus only" and you have to be water Baptized in order to be saved......

John 3.5 unless a man be born of the water and other Spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven Acts 2:38 must repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost by speaking into other tongues and Jesus said when you have seen my father you have seen me meaning that we are the same John 10.30 I hope this helps

Actually the Baptist believes the same as far as water Baptism, they say God says you aren't saved until He says you are and that through water baptism. So you ask Christ into your heart, you wait until Sunday or whenever, you wind up in a fatal accident prior and you die, and apparently go to hell because 'man' says you aren't saved......? I don't agree with that thinking and I'm Pentecostal, been water baptized and filled with His Spirit....The scriptures also say, whomever calls upon the Name of Jesus shall be saved, there's no but...don't get me wrong, water baptism and being filled with His Spirit is vital. .... Receiving the Holy Spirit is a great added plus to one's life and I believe is necessary for daily living and Spiritual warfare, etc.... I think we also must think of the person whom is on their death bed and accepts Jesus Christ, I believe will enter the kingdom. They wouldn't have a chance to get baptized in water... We should seek ALL that God has for us in this life so we can live an abundant life.. This music is great!!!

@@jaronstu3918 That has always been a point of contention and some believe that it’s mistranslated or taken out of context. You and I do certainly have the opportunity and time to be baptized and there are several scriptures that say it is necessary. My personal opinion is that God can make exceptions whenever it suits and pleases him and that this was one of those times. We also don’t know that the thief hadn’t been baptized. Maybe he fell back into sin but knew who Jesus was. He did pose the question “Have you no fear of God?” Then asked Jesus “Remember me Lord when you come into your kingdom.” I know that God is merciful. I wouldn’t be alive after everything I’ve been through if he wasn’t so merciful. God bless you and I hope this helps in some way. I’m open to a dialogue about anything Biblical or about doctrine.

@@billytrevathan6405 I was raised in the Assemblies of God, so I am a Pentecostal, but I tend to believe in most if not all the stuff that the AoG believes, like the Trinity, etc. But I love the music I've seen from the Jesus-only Apostolic churches. They obviously know how to sing and have a worship service. My view on baptism is that it is a command, not a suggestion. So if you can, you should be baptized. However, I don't think the baptism is what saves you. If you get killed in a car wreck after you accept Jesus but before you are baptized, I don't think you are going to hell. If you are being crucified on a cross or are in the ICU on your deathbed and simply can't be baptized, there seems to be Scriptural basis for the idea that you are still saved. Not that I'm an expert on it.
