Christian's skills are from another world, he is one of the biggest inspirations for my guitar playing

Nice. Yeah his playing is just phanomenal

This dude is like the life force for technical death metal, has been in so many of the best bands in the genre. Spawn, necrophaghist, obsura like it’s crazy. Has there ever been a guitarist who has been in so many top bands that defined the genre

I took a skype lesson from Christian once, and it was so great, the best skype lesson I've had even though I've only done 3 skype lessons from 3 different guys, I should consider it again. He's really good at teaching, and teaches what you want to learn!

Christian seems like a genuinly nice and down to earth guy, which means something playing in that genre ;-)
@ChristianVirial5 жыл бұрын
I think that specially this genre consists out of the most down to earth guys. The scene is so small and most of the time when you attempt a live show you get to know the members personally. That's what I love so much about this scene. Well, and the sweeps, blast beats and impossible guitar solos.

Yes, he is such a nice, humble and great person. And he is like we all still very fascinated about music.. like a little child :)

Thanks for the interview, very interesting insights! How cool you are playing in the same band now. 🙂One more question although it was already a few years back: What is he using to play/practice at home in terms of amp/amp sim or effects?
