I love his style of play. Smooth, moves forward with momentum, instinctive, can plow through you, jump over you, juke you, outrun you, skip through traffic and be slippery through unpredictable speed changeups. Really a unique player that we'll get to enjoy at this level for another 3 years or so..

As a Panthers fan this is so depressing to watch, I despise our new owner. Good for SF though, I think they have a real shot of winning it all if they stay healthy.
@jeffdeprey6279 Жыл бұрын
I am a Panthers fan also, but it is good to see him doing so well and not hurt because we have some bad o-line and play calling in Carolina. At least his talent is in full use in SF right now, everyone can see how good he is, appears to have been the right move for him. So as much as that may hurt, I wish him the best, hope he gets a ring!

Christian McCaffrey got robbed of the Heisman. He broke the unbreakable, all-time, all-purpose yards record. When you do something that nobody in the entire history of college football has ever done, then you not only should win the Heisman, but should have been a near unanimous choice.

He runs north/south, jukes with purpose instead of just style, and takes EVERYTHING the defense gives him yardage-wise. He's smart enough and humble enough to know he's not going to beat NFL athletes by going around them and runs with balance, angles and efficiency. It's the difference between an 8 yard gain and a 12 yard gain on a 3rd and 10.

The ONLY thing CMC lost from his game when he entered the NFL was his separation or marathon speed. Otherwise, his game is identical to every other era of his play. If anything, he got stronger, which is a ridiculous thought if you were a fan of him at Stanford 😅

When they start going forward, great runners keep moving forward. No pauses, no slow slides to one side or the other. Just forward. McC not as fast as Barry Sanders, but both have/had that ability to just keep moving forward while picking spots.

The Eagles luck ran out. Washington had them beat twice. Patriots had them beat in first game of the season. KC had them beat. Buffalo had them beat. They could easily be 500. Need to concentrate more on the Pushy Tushy and age old Rugby tactic. If Dallas crushes the Eagles, no More Fly Eagles Fly. Just go away.

I was talking about that fumble that led to the 1st TD by the Vikings that turned into a loss for the 9er's! As all of you stat haters are, who cares what your stats are if you don't win! Trust me, as a Vikings fan, I've heard them all!
@berndtherrenvolk1951 Жыл бұрын
Oh my! A fumble! That's never happened before in football! So if you're going to rate McCaffrey's value as a RB on his fumbling, he has fumbled a total of 12 times in 6 years . . . an average of 2 fumbles per year. By way of comparing that with the greatest NFL running backs of all time: Eric Dickerson: 78 fumbles in 10 years. An average of 7.8 fumbles per year. Tony Dorsett: 90 fumbles in 12 years. An average of 7.5 per year. Franco Harris: 6.9 per year. Jim Brown 57 fumbles in 9 years. An average of 6.3 per year. Walter Payton 86 in 13 years, about 6 per year. OJ Simpson: 62 in 11 years. 5.8 per year. Adrian Peterson: 49 in 13 years. 4.8 per year. Emmit Smith had 61 in 15 years. Just over 4.0 per year. Marcus Allen: 4.0 Edgerrin James: 4.0. Thurman Thomas: 3.8. Barry Sanders: 3.5. Jerome Bettis: 3.5. Marshawn Lynch: 3.0. LaDainian Tomlinson: 3.0. Marshall Faulk: 3.0. Stephen Jackson: 2.9. Curtis Martin: 2.9. Frank Gore: 2.8. LeSean McCoy: 2.1 You unintentionally tried to downgrade McCaffrey by pointing to an area where is superior to all the great running backs in NFL history.
