Jon D'oh true, but running backs will NEVER make as much money as the other offensive positions for one reason; it’s a dangerous position. RBs take a huge beating every play, because of this it’s so easy for them get injured. So teams decide not to pay them a huge sum of money, no matter how good they are, mostly because they’re a play away from a career ending injury. Don’t get me wrong, that’s true for anyone playing football, but NFL teams see running backs as easy to replace equipment. Which is true unfortunately true.

@Cole Pratt lmao nope. Keep wishing. *Run Attempts:* CMC-287 DH-303 -If CMC had 303 runs, had be almost exactly 100 short of DH's total yards, which is like, one game. *Yards:* CMC-1387 DH-1540 *Average:* CMC-4.8 DH-5.1 *TDs:* CMC-15 DH-16 *Longest Rush:* CMC-84 DH-74 *Receptions:* CMC-116 DH-18 *Reception Yards:* CMC-1005 DH-206 *Recieving TDs:* CMC-4 DH-2 *Fumbles:* CMC-1/Lost 0 DH-5/Lost 3 So, CMC had more total TDs as a player. Waaaay less fumbles with no turnovers. Which is unprecedented, it rarely happens. For how *big* and *dominant* DH is, CMC only had 117 less rushing yards and a difference of .3 yards per carry. CMC had 682 more total yards as a player. CMC had almost 100 more receptions than DH. So, during pass plays DH is virtually no threat whatsoever. While CMC is a scary, potent weapon you have to adapt your defense towards because he's basically another receiver, and his recieving stats are in favor of him actually being a receiver if you'd like to call him that. Your defense stops the run? Cool, you stop Henry's usefulness. No, he's not useful throwing the ball. He got a passing TD by completing a 5 yard pass, jumping in the air. Stop the run? Cool, CMC will just run routes on you all day instead. CMCs overall athleticism is far superior to DHs. DH is just a big, fast dude. That's literally it. *CMCs reliability in avoiding turnovers, and his potential to put and be a threat every game surpasses that of Henry's.* So I'd choose CMC everyday. Put CMC on a team like the Titans or 49s....I bet he would have had 1800 rushing yards and been a total phenom. Carolina f*cking SUCKS. And his QBs could never perform, get this man on a good team.

When you look at the entire Panther's roster they really had no reason winning five games but it was all due to McCaffrey and it helped Kyle Allen build his standing as a very serviceable game manager quarterback. That's the definition of the MVP which is elevating everyone around you and making plays despite the lack of help around you.

Love how three guys have done this, Craig, Faulk and CMC (unless I missed some one in the 00s) and they all have radically different styles and body types. History is not kind for smaller backs with this kind of workload though, Lionel James being a good example. Anyway Panthers fans enjoy him now, at least 90% of the league would take him as their starter now.

McCaffrey reminds me a lot of Thurman Thomas. Similiar in size, both very elusive and quick, and they are both very good receivers. I remember Thurman leading the league in total scrimmage yards year after year during his prime. If CMC doesn't get hurt, then he'll end up in Canton someday.

Yeah that's what we said after missing the playoffs last year. We'll never be successful as long as the Turner family continues their assault on our team with their bullshit play calling. Only a play caller who's trying to lose has an undrafted first year starter throwing 40 times a game behind a bad line.
