Promise, Texas is no place to raise a family. There's no rain, businesses are failing, and the kids can't wait to grow up and move away. Some folks say the town is cursed. But just when things are at their darkest, a mysterious boy wanders out of the wilderness with nothing but the clothes on his back and a strange mat tucked under his arm. He has a message for the people of Promise, but they're slow to listen. They are blind to the similarities between the slow death of the town and their own parched souls. Confronted by their spiritual shortcomings, the town's indignation turns to outrage. Still, the boy holds true to his message: there is no hope without Christ, and Promise can only be remade through earnest communion with the Father. In the end, with his back against the wall - surrounded by skeptics - the boy is forced to reveal his true identity.

I AM GABRIEL is a great story. He comes to promise to restore a community that seemed without hope, he tells the community that it isn't him that gives hope, but God himself. He tells them to pray to God, that he wants to hear from them. He tells them that God can help them. 😊

After the Doctor told me that my Mom wasn't going to survive the night, I sat in the waiting room of the hospital and prayed. An old woman wrapped her arms around me and prayed with me. I felt her love flow through me and I was calmed. As we were praying my best friend came in and called my name. I opened my eyes and the old woman was gone. Across from me, a little girl stared at me with awe on her face. I heard her tell her Mommy that she just saw an Angel. I believe and nobody will ever convince me that God doesn't send us Angels when we need them. The Doctors by the way are amazed that Mom pulled through and is still with us! Update: 5 - 16 - 23 My precious Mom went home to our Lord tonight. I want to thank those of you who have commented on the original post. Mom loved to read your comments. She went home peacefully and surrounded by her loved ones. Praise be to God.

@@borg386 Better brush up on the Word, my friend. "But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" (Hebrews 1:13-14) You also need to read the Book of Acts. Angels played a prominent role, working with the saints of God. I don't know which denomination or cult doctrine you're bound by, but you are 💯 missing the mark on this topic. Shoot, angels will be PREACHING THE GOSPEL to the ends of the earth in the Tribulation. Study up. Here's another truth for you, from Hebrews 13:2, speaking to born again believers: "Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." Couldn't be any more clear.

@@WBNX If you believe angels are still bringing "Devine truth" to mankind AFTER the Bible has been completed ( and it has been completed), then you believe Gods word is still being written till this day. That would be adding to Gods word, which would violate the warning that if we add to his word, then he will add to us the plagues written in the book.( Revelation 22:18-19)That is a dire warning to us not to add anything to his word. If you choose to risk salvation by adding to Gods word, then that is on you. As for me I believe in the written word and the written word only, and take that warning very seriously.

When I was 19, I suffered self hate, I thought I was ugly, unloved, worthless empty shell. Why am I here? Who would ever want me? So I went into my Mom's bedroom, opened her dresser drawer and took out her sleeping pills. I poured them into my hand then looked at the wretched. pathetic image in the mirror. I stared and then something happened to me. I saw a light behind my head in the mirror. The light slowly worked it's way down my body calming me, soothing me, warming me. Then a voice whispered in my ear "You are worthy." I stood there for a long time. I put the pills back. Today I am 73 and I can say that was the most profound moment of my life. An angel saved me that day. And in this movie when Gabe says, "You are worthy" I thanked God and cried.

I remember that fateful day in 2017 when i walked into doctors room he said to me Mercy am sorry u will never be able to have children of ur own, you have two blocked fallopian tubes, no eggs ie premature menopause, and hormonal imbalance. In 2019 i got my baby boy without any medication but Gods miracle. He is turning 4 years this month. That a miracle i will never forget n will alway thank God for forever.

I was 5 years old and was in the hospital with an intestinal blockage.A nun came in my room to pray with me right before the surgery. She placed a catholic pendant in my hand and prayed.After prayer they came to do an X-ray so the surgeon would know where to cut…the blockage was GONE! God had healed me! I had “the faith of a child”…don’t ever lose faith in HIM. So many more miracles I have seen.Praise our Heavenly Father and our precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ ❣️

My mom had been in the hospital for a while. She had cancer. My dad got a phone call at 10pm to come to the hospital. I sat up to wait for him. The room got very bright. I heard a voice behind me. When I turned around Jesus was standing there smiling. He told me he had come to take mom home with him and that she was okay. My dad walked in about half an hour later and told me that she had died. I told him I knew, and that she was with Jesus.

I've watched this movie several times over the past few years and it always inspires me and reminds me of how vast God's love for us all is and how He longs for us to come to Him and give ourselves to Him. This is a special movie. Very special. I'm so grateful it's here to see whenever I want to watch it. It gives me peace when my day has been especially difficult to navigate and I feel like I've totally missed God. I failed miserably today. I let someone cause me to become angry when all I want is to share the love and light of Jesus. As I go to The Throne of Grace again and again I'm always welcomed by my loving Father. I'm reminded of the incredible compassion Jesus has for us all. I'm reminded of His faithfulness even when I'm not faithful. He always is ready to forgive me when I ask Him to. He longs for our voice. He loves us beyond our comprehension. I'm SO BLESSED TO BE HIS! ALL GLORY to King Jesus! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

We as Christian must not compromise with the Words of our FATHER in heaven. Yes God has His angels and they are used to help Him to help us. They can do whatever God commands them. But they are not the Savior, the Son of God. There is only One Way to God. There is Only One we can come to in order for us to be reconnected to God and to be in harmony, in peace with God so He can reveal to us His individual plans to all those who believe in and call on the name of His Son. That name is Jesus Christ the Nazarene, there is no other name given to mankind that will save us, heal us, take care of us. Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

Amen...I truly believed we Always need Talked to Almighty Father, I know he Listen...🙏 I would like to share my personal expirience in 2021 September, when my sister got tested positive in Covid 19,...When I was assigned to look for her in hospital, everytime I, Talked and Prayed to Lord Jesus Christ and Our Almighty Father, I was crying and crying, becouse I know my sister tested positive in covid virus... 3 times a day, I prayed and prayed and I really want to talked and ask Help To Lord Our God...🙏 after 18days she survived and healthy again..Thanks Be To Our God,..🙏 I know Lord Jesus is Truly live and Almighty Father God, they answer all my Request and Prayers when I was Praying in the Hospital in September 2021...until now I can't forgot that year...I, always Prayed and Talked to Lord our God Almighty Father in Heaven...🙏 Thanks Be To Our Lord God...🙏

Believe in the Lord, Jesus Christ and you will saved and set free from the slavery of sin. Remember at the time you put your faith in Jesus Christ, we are reborn and will have eternal life and our salvation is sealed. What you do with that life is entirely up to you but you never lose your salvation. You don't have to pray for your soul you need to see John 3:16 and you are saved. Study the true word of the Bible. It is our manuscript to have a relationship with God the Father, through Jesus Christ and by the power of the HS. I have been through a lot in my life,since my childhood, sometimes I ask Him why He let this happen to me in my life, I have family problem that turned into emotional problem, heartaches, anxiety, and depression. But upon looking deeper God never leaves me even in my worst situation. He sends people that i considered them as Angels, to help me, believe in God, He will never disappoint you...Continue doing good deeds for others, that what makes me happy when I am alone and lonely..If you are sad try to make one person to be happy, you will see what it can do to your feelings..I considered it as a miracle. I was watching this movie with my daughter yesterday...she is 12 years old. All i can say is this movie moved my daughter tremendously...she cried when the angel revealed himself to the sheriff at the end of the movie. I enjoyed this movie too.

How many times when a person goes through hard times ...but we stay true and we ask God for guidance and help....and after we go through that sometimes 'dark tunnel' we come out the other side way stronger than ever before.... Jesus takes care of His flock and dearly loves His children. Don't just talk to Him when times are toff, talk to Him and thank Him for a beautiful sun raise or sun set, for getting to see pretty deer in a meadow, that's what I do. 😊

Wow what a blessing of a movie. I am a 66-year-old man that just lost his beautiful wife in October. This movie was a blessing to me I cried nearly through the whole movie. And then when I saw that last scene in the church with Gabriel up on the stage, and opening up at swings he’s a messenger we may notSee him but we know this. We know that God is here with us all the time day or night thank you for this wonderful movie.

If you haven't watched the movie, hold your tongue, particularly "believers." If you watch the whole thing, Gabriel repeatedly says he is nothing but a boy & a messenger & that God does ALL the work. This is a movie showing how God uses his angels, part of how He works & to offer hope to humanity. That is all. Beautifully done! 🙏

I know this is just a movie, but it has been very inspirational to me, after seeing so much bad things happening around me now a day. It has given me some hope that things will turn around. Grabeh.. It really touches my heart.. I feel broke but when I watch the movie.. I feel like it's amazing if I put God in the center of my life. I consider myself a pretty strong guy but from the beginning till the end I cried my eyes out!! I kept seeing the trailer for this movie for awhile but never clicked on it till today. I feel it was perfect timing because everything in this movie is relatable to me and what I'm going through at the moment! Praise be to God 🙏💜🙏

Thanks for this movie. I’m at home alone because my husband of twelve years who is an Elder left me for another woman but denies he has had an affair. I have been praying on a gardener’s mat for months to soften his hardened heart, praying for my fathers stage 4 colon cancer, this pandemic, the lost, those that are bereaved, depressed, mentally ill. My hope is in Christ . 2Chronicles 7:14.
