Thanks so much CWW ladies! :)) - I get Christian trying to keep Olli's feet on the ground about him possibly having a sister, and believing Charlie to be a honest person who would not deceive him - but he was a little insenstive and should have realised the extent of Olli's concerns, thanks writers! :( - I'm really intrigued by this new SL . Thanks so much for adding the Arno scenes , I am all teary-eyed watching it, he looked so scared - it was heart breaking, Konrad was great! CHROLLI FOREVER!

It's not mocking, it is just light teasing, laced with plenty of affection. There is no nastiness intended at all. It shows how comfortable they are as a couple. It is more real, like you might find in every relationship that is solid.

I also thought the flashbacks were really lovely and sad. Arno had been having heart pains for quite some time but didn't tell the doctor about them. It seemed to me that he sort of chose to have a heart attack and die doing something he liked rather than slowly fade away from the Alzheimer's.

Charlie and Arno know each other from a long time ago. Charlie was romantically interested in Arno, but it didn't work out and so they stayed friends. Arno was helping Charlie to find Clarissa when she was kidnapped long time ago. They eventually move in together when Arno's estate burns down. They end up flirting with each other but decide to stay friends. (That's the gist of it that I got from Wikipedia)

Wow! Christian & Olli actually in a scene TOGETHER + a very platonic kiss on the cheek from Olli to Christian. That's more than we've seen in a long time. I don't care if VL resorts to yet another soap opera cliche by dredging up a long lost relative for Olli as long as it keeps Jo front & center in the story while Thore is away. It's not Chrolli, but it's at least something. It's looking like this is going to be a very dry year for us fans.

As much as the VL writers are capable of coming up with awful storylines like the terrible drawn-out break-up they did to Chroll last year, I have to say that they handled Arno's exit beautifully & it was all very well acted. Kudos to everyone involved.

I've just done a little reasearch quickly into the subject of light hearted teasing. It is common in very close relationships. Secure relationships. I really think you got onto your horse too quickly there. Try taking a step back, watch the scenes again and notice the expressions Christian uses when teasing Olli. There is no malice, in fact you will notice pure love and adoration for Olli. He would never intentionally be mean to Olli. They have been through too much.

I think you have to watch it several times.. I've done it and to me it's now less frustrating and more understandable.. Somehow I can understand Christian and I think it's realistic that he acts in that way.. The writers wanted to show that the story itself is actually totally unlikely and Christian has the part of showing this.. ;) He wants to calm Olli down nothing more and of course he thinks that he is the reasonable one and that he knows it best that it can't be true.. What do you think?

Christian supports Ollie with sound mind. He's making him sensible about the possible good reasons why his sister has to be kept secret. He's trying for Ollie not to think bad about the people who hid him the possible truth.

I'm pretty late watching the storyline so I'm trying to catch up. But the only way I can see Charlie getting so upset and is so hell-bent on keeping this "sister" of Ollie's a secret is if she had an affair with Ollie's father and is therefore this child's mother. So she is not only Ollie's aunt but in a way his "mother" too via his sister.

There was plenty of respect and support shown. If you are a fan of this show and of Olli and Christian and know their characters the way the majority of the fans do, you will know that at no point has Christian being nasty to Olli. Where I live (UK) we using light hearted teasing as a means of affection. Perhaps where you live it is unheard of, but I doubt it as this is universal

About Christian, yeah, it was insensitive of him. I think he just didn't believe the entire thing (which, if you consider he's usually more down-to-earth than Olli, is quite believable) and didn't realize how did Olli feel about it. I'm not defending him, because at this point he should know Olli better than that, I'm just trying to explain what he did.
