I wouldn't call who they played on Tuesday prime atletico by any means. La liga just fell off and they were also missing important players. Also over the past few weeks their form has been poor and their team has been hit with covid. We did not play any great football on Tuesday as we still lacked the ability to penetrate the defence or deliver a final ball. Yes their line was very deep and the result is a very good one for us to get away from home, however, atletico just played very poorly. Tuchel didn't 'turn them to Spanish Burnley' as you claim.

For now, Tuchel has stopped Chelsea's losing streak, and he did it by changing the way the team lines up and plays, which favors defending. It's worked. The bleeding that was happening under Lampard has stopped. But, this has put Pulisic and Ziyech out of the starting line-up. Both are now being held in reserve, in case Chelsea needs to go for more attack. Until things change in the way Chelsea can secure wins, ... I'm afraid that Pulisic will not get the playing time to continue his fine development. I understand what Tuchel feels that the needs to do, but I really miss seeing Christian play. We will see where things go.

Definitley harder for Pulisic to get game time with current line up doing well, but at same time Pulisic has been injured and not fully match fit! Ziyech on other hand perhaps is not in the greatest form. Ziyech did start the first game under Tuchel, but then dropped for Mount for obvious reasons. Plenty of games to play and I'm sure both will get their chance! lots of competition for the both of them and current line up doing well! But i'm pretty sure Pulisic has big role to play!

What else do you want or expect? All this taking into consideration that Tuchel has only had under a month with this team. so yes, Chelsea are doing pretty well.

@@supernice_auto Chelsea did not get lucky from a Giroud wonder goal... watch the build up to that goal, football is about creating chances and putting the ball in dangerous areas and that's exactly what happened! Giroud just happens to be an excellent striker. Look at the teams Chelsea have lost to this season, except Man City, were they amazing teams? Chelsea lost to wolves, drew to Spurs at home, lost to a struggling Arsenal, drew with Southampton and conceding 3 goals in the process. I think we need to stop using the excuse of Chelsea have had "easy games", when in fact the performances and results have been very positive in the last 8 games, including beating Spurs and Athletico Madrid. One thing we can say for certain, there are no easy game in the pl, every team is capable of beating another. Dont see why it's too early to have an impression ? 8 games in, 6 wins, 2 draws, 2 goals conceded and only a month in charge. He has completely transformed the team and its very obvious how he has changed the way we play. There will obviously be some problems along the way, some losses etc, but overal, as you have said, we have a better and more experienced manager in charge now, someone who has 21 years of experience and has won trophies on the highest level. hes the type of coach that deserves time. I personally have a good feeling about him! and think he can create something special at Chelsea.
