Any person that came from streets knows about that solo even if there isn't actually juice in it it's mimicking that life. And also where is jesus or scripture in this?

At first I thought 'this is a nice song', but it doesn't speak about Christ therefore it is not Christian rap. Also remember that while Christ was physically walking on earth, He had the time for a "fake friend" named Judas Iscariot. Christ lived what He taught, love your enemies. *If you love only those who love you, why should you get credit for that? Even sinners love those who love them! And if you do good only to those who do good to you, why should you get credit? Even sinners do that much! And if you lend money only to those who can repay you, why should you get credit? Even sinners will lend to other sinners for a full return. Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from Heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for He is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked. You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate.* - Luke 6:32-36

Somebody has too much time on his hands. It doesn't say "Christian rap" anyway in the title or description. Also he did mention God.
@intelligentMEXICAN6 жыл бұрын
When you google "Rapzilla" the first thing you read, which Rapzilla claims of itself, is "Christian Rap & Christian Hip Hop culture's most visited destination." Therefore for me to expect "Christian rap" from Rapzilla, is based on what they claim, it's not asking too much, it's asking for what they claim to provide. About your claim that this song mentions God---I don't doubt satan mentions God, that doesn't make satan Christian.
@zionmesa6736 жыл бұрын
@@intelligentMEXICAN By that token, how do you decide what Christian rap IS? Satan also throws around scripture. Christian hip hop (originally Gospelrap, also known as Christian rap, Gospel hip hop or holy hip hop) is a subgenre of hip hop music characterized by a Christian worldview, with the general purposes of evangelization (Christian mission work), edifying some members of the church and/OR SIMPLY ENTERTAINING. TECHNICALLY this is Christian rap. If you don't like it you don't need to listen, but don't you have more important things to spend your time on? Rather then posting comments that the artist is unlikely to even see?
@intelligentMEXICAN6 жыл бұрын
It's not about the artist seeing it, if that was my intent I would go to his channel or get his email address, rather than comment on Rapzilla. It's more about Rapzilla---and again---I'm only holding them to the standard they claim. I'm not the only person that feels this way, here are examples: "His name is humble tip but his first shot is with a Lotus. What you doin rapzilla?" This is a good point, his name is "humble tip" but the song isn't humble at all. "So you need to flex your car your muscles and expensive clothes this all of the world" "Just my lil humble lotus...it gets me from "a" to "b" My original comment was on just the lyrics of this upload, these comments people put are about the video. Neither the video nor the lyrics are about Christ. I'm here because I want lyrics about Christ, I click on an upload from Rapzilla, I expect lyrics about Christ. "Christian Rap & Christian Hip Hop culture's most visited destination" alright Rapzilla---then consistently provide it.
@zionmesa6736 жыл бұрын
@@intelligentMEXICAN Again, the chances of rapzilla even seeing this are small. If you really have a complaint they have a site and I'm sure you could contact them directly. All you're doing in the comments is being a religious troll. Doesn't the Bible say that if you have an issue with your brother to address it in private?

As a "christian" artists, he says nothing of value and is not doing a good job of hiding his pride. As a rapper, he's just not good. He doesn't have a single creative line and mostly just raps a bunch of worn out buzz words and phrases that everyone has already used. His flow is clunky, his visuals are corny, and there's very little focus (if any) on contributing to rap culture, much less the christian rap culture. I expected better from rapzilla.
