What is meant by *heaven* and *hell?* *Ibn al-Qayyim* (may Allah have mercy on him) said: As a matter of fact, Paradise is not a word that refers only to trees, fruits, food, drink, hoor al-‘een, rivers and palaces. Most people are mistaken when they think that Paradise is limited to that, for Paradise is a name for the abode of perfect and absolute bliss, and one of the *greatest joys of Paradise will be the pleasure of gazing upon the noble Countenance of Allah and hearing His words, and the delight of being close to Him and attaining His pleasure.* There can be no comparison between the physical pleasures in Paradise - such as food, drink, clothing and images - and that pleasure. *Attaining the least divine pleasure is greater than Paradise and all that it contains,* as Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): “But the good pleasure of Allah is greater still” [at-Tawbah 9:72]. In other words, no matter the extent to which Allah is pleased with His slave, even if it is small, it is still greater than Paradise. In the *saheeh hadith* about seeing Allah, it says: “… and Allah will not give them *anything that is dearer to them* than gazing upon His Countenance.” According to another hadith: *“When He, may He be glorified, manifests Himself to them and they see His Countenance with their own eyes, they will forget all the bliss that they had been enjoying, and will become oblivious to that joy and will pay no attention to it.”* Undoubtedly, this is how it is, And the matter is much greater than one could think or imagine, especially when the lovers there find themselves with the one whom they love, for a person will be with the one whom he loves. What bliss, delight, joy or triumph could come close to the joy, pleasure and tranquillity of being with Allah? Is there anything superior to the pleasure and joy of being close to the Beloved, for there is nothing greater than Him, or more perfect, or more beautiful, and nothing could give greater comfort and happiness? This - by Allah - is the type of knowledge that the lovers are striving hard to attain, and is the banner around which all those who have knowledge of Allah rally. It is the most important thing in Paradise, through which Paradise becomes a place of joy, and the life of Paradise is based on that. So how can it be said that one should not worship Allah for the sake of attaining Paradise or for fear of Hell? *Similarly, Hell* - may Allah protect us from it - is a place where its dwellers will suffer a great deal when they are partitioned away from Allah and suffer disgrace, divine wrath and anger, and being far away from Him. That will be worse than the flames of fire in their bodies and souls. In fact, the flames of this fire in their hearts is what led to the flames burning their bodies, for those flames spread everywhere in their bodies from their hearts. The aspiration of the Prophets and Messengers, the siddeeqs (the strong and true in faith), the martyrs and the righteous is Paradise, and what they seek to flee from is Hell. And Allah is the source of strength, and in Him we put our trust. There is no power and no strength except with Allah; Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs. {Madaarij as-Saalikeen (2/80, 81)}

*Ibn al-Itheer(r)* said, *“Seeing Allah is the ultimate joy in the Hereafter, the most precious gift of Allah.* May Allah (ﷻ) help us reach that goal.” [Jaami’ al-Usool, 10/557] Allaah says: “For those who have done good is the best reward and *even more* (i.e. having the honour of glancing at the Countenance of Allaah)” [Yoonus 10:26] The “best reward” is Paradise, and *“even more”* is looking upon the Face of Allaah, as that was explained by the *Prophet* (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), as was narrated by Muslim in his *Saheeh (266)* from Suhayb, according to whom the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When the people of Paradise enter Paradise, Allaah will say, ‘Do you want anything more?’ They will say, ‘Have You not brightened our faces, admitted us to Paradise and saved us from Hell?’ 👉Then the veil will be lifted and they will not have seen anything more dear to them than looking upon their Lord, may He be glorified and exalted. This is what is meant by ‘even more.’” Then he recited the verse (interpretation of the meaning): “For those who have done good is the best reward and👉 even more (i.e. having the honour of glancing at the Countenance of Allaah)” [Yoonus 10:26] The blessings which Allaah bestows upon His slaves cannot be counted. Allaah has singled out the believers for additional blessings in this world, as He has blessed them with Islam, and chosen them to be guided by the Qur’aan, and He will bless them exclusively in Paradise with the greatest blessing that He can bestow, which is the honour of looking upon His holy Face in the Paradise of ‘Adan, as He says: “Some faces that Day shall be Naadirah (shining and radiant). Looking at their Lord (Allaah)” [al-Qiyaamah :22-23] i.e., the faces of the believers will be beautiful and radiant, joyful because they are looking at the Face of their Lord. *Al-Hasan* (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: “They will look at their Lord and their faces will become radiant with His Light.” It was narrated that *Ibn ‘Abbaas* (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “[The phrase] ‘Some faces that Day shall be Naadirah (shining and radiant)’ means, because of the blessing. ‘Looking at their Lord’ means, looking upon the Face of their Lord.” This is the opinion of the mufassireen among the scholars of the Sunnah and hadeeth. So once you know that the people of Paradise will not be given anything there that is more dear to them than looking upon the *Face of their Lord,* it will become clear to you just how great is the deprivation and loss that awaits the sinners whom Allaah warns with the words (interpretation of the meaning): “Nay! Surely, they (evil doers) will be veiled from seeing their Lord that Day” [al-Mutafiffoon 83:15] We ask Allaah to keep us safe and sound How beautiful are the words of *al-Shaafa’i (r)* which were narrated from him by al-Rabee’ ibn Sulaymaan - who was one of his students - who said: “I was with Muhammad ibn Idrees [i.e., al-Shaafa’i], who had received a letter from Upper Egypt in which it said, ‘What do you say about the aayah, “Nay! Surely, they (evil doers) will be veiled from seeing their Lord that Day” [al-Mutafiffoon 83:15]?’ Al-Shaafa’i(r) said: ‘Because they will be veiled by the wrath (of Allaah), this indicates that the friends of Allaah will see Him beceause He is pleased with them.’

‘And when Moses arrived at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said, “My Lord, show me [Yourself] that I may look at You.” [Allah] said, “You will not see Me, but look at the mountain; if it should remain in place, then you will see Me.” But when his Lord appeared to the mountain, He rendered it level, and Moses fell unconscious. And when he awoke, he said, “Exalted are You! I have repented to You, and I am the first of the believers”.’ [Qur’an, 7:143] According to a hadith verified by Al-Hakim, mentioned in tafseer Al-Jalalayn, Allah did not even show Himself in His entirety to the mountain. Rather, Allah revealed a portion of His light that is equivalent to half a nail of a little finger to this mountain, and the mountain crumbled. The ayah says that when Allah revealed Himself to the mountain “جعله دكّا” - not only did the mountain collapse, but it broke into pieces the size of grains of sand. Think about it - from mountain to sand in an instant.

What a magnificent description of our creator. Have never gone to that place mentally, nor could I have ever gone to that place mentally for it’s near impossible to reach such thoughts. After researching Islam vicariously through your channel and through starting to read the Quran for myself I can slowly see why the west see’s Islam as a threat. The direct connection Islam gives to its followers with our creator is the strongest bond one can posses on this Earth. That bond is a hindrance to the western system and one that can never be broken once established. Everything makes sense now as to why they want to destroy Islam and why they do their utmost to paint it as an Evil religion for it is simply pure and the truth. It also makes sense as to why Muslims do not fear death for that is how Great their Love is for Allah that they look forward to the day of being in Allah’s presence. Extremely powerful. Greetings from Macedonia 🇲🇰

Assalam Alaykum Bobby. It's a pleasure to see u reacting and coming near to Islam. It's a sad reality that what they show in media is only making people have negative thoughts about Islam. Really happy seeing u react and studying Islam and u r indeed seeker of knowledge. It inspires me as a Muslim how u r learning Islam and struggling for it. And I'm happy that u r not just reacting u r also showing others what they thought about Islam is wrong and they r studying with u too. Thanks bro. I would suggest some videos too please react to "Allah and the Cosmos." It's a series please react on 1st episode. And 2nd u can react to "Who is Propeht Muhammad- His description (saw)" of Merciful Servant's channel.

What is meant by *heaven* and *hell?* *Ibn al-Qayyim* (may Allah have mercy on him) said: As a matter of fact, Paradise is not a word that refers only to trees, fruits, food, drink, hoor al-‘een, rivers and palaces. Most people are mistaken when they think that Paradise is limited to that, for Paradise is a name for the abode of perfect and absolute bliss, and one of the *greatest joys of Paradise will be the pleasure of gazing upon the noble Countenance of Allah and hearing His words, and the delight of being close to Him and attaining His pleasure.* There can be no comparison between the physical pleasures in Paradise - such as food, drink, clothing and images - and that pleasure. *Attaining the least divine pleasure is greater than Paradise and all that it contains,* as Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): “But the good pleasure of Allah is greater still” [at-Tawbah 9:72]. In other words, no matter the extent to which Allah is pleased with His slave, even if it is small, it is still greater than Paradise. In the *saheeh hadith* about seeing Allah, it says: “… and Allah will not give them *anything that is dearer to them* than gazing upon His Countenance.” According to another hadith: *“When He, may He be glorified, manifests Himself to them and they see His Countenance with their own eyes, they will forget all the bliss that they had been enjoying, and will become oblivious to that joy and will pay no attention to it.”* Undoubtedly, this is how it is, And the matter is much greater than one could think or imagine, especially when the lovers there find themselves with the one whom they love, for a person will be with the one whom he loves. What bliss, delight, joy or triumph could come close to the joy, pleasure and tranquillity of being with Allah? Is there anything superior to the pleasure and joy of being close to the Beloved, for there is nothing greater than Him, or more perfect, or more beautiful, and nothing could give greater comfort and happiness? This - by Allah - is the type of knowledge that the lovers are striving hard to attain, and is the banner around which all those who have knowledge of Allah rally. It is the most important thing in Paradise, through which Paradise becomes a place of joy, and the life of Paradise is based on that. So how can it be said that one should not worship Allah for the sake of attaining Paradise or for fear of Hell? *Similarly, Hell* - may Allah protect us from it - is a place where its dwellers will suffer a great deal when they are partitioned away from Allah and suffer disgrace, divine wrath and anger, and being far away from Him. That will be worse than the flames of fire in their bodies and souls. In fact, the flames of this fire in their hearts is what led to the flames burning their bodies, for those flames spread everywhere in their bodies from their hearts. The aspiration of the Prophets and Messengers, the siddeeqs (the strong and true in faith), the martyrs and the righteous is Paradise, and what they seek to flee from is Hell. And Allah is the source of strength, and in Him we put our trust. There is no power and no strength except with Allah; Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs. {Madaarij as-Saalikeen (2/80, 81)}

﴿ ۞ اللَّهُ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ مَثَلُ نُورِهِ كَمِشْكَاةٍ فِيهَا مِصْبَاحٌ ۖ الْمِصْبَاحُ فِي زُجَاجَةٍ ۖ الزُّجَاجَةُ كَأَنَّهَا كَوْكَبٌ دُرِّيٌّ يُوقَدُ مِن شَجَرَةٍ مُّبَارَكَةٍ زَيْتُونَةٍ لَّا شَرْقِيَّةٍ وَلَا غَرْبِيَّةٍ يَكَادُ زَيْتُهَا يُضِيءُ وَلَوْ لَمْ تَمْسَسْهُ نَارٌ ۚ نُّورٌ عَلَىٰ نُورٍ ۗ يَهْدِي اللَّهُ لِنُورِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ ۚ وَيَضْرِبُ اللَّهُ الْأَمْثَالَ لِلنَّاسِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ﴾ [ النور: 35] سورة : النور - An-Nūr - الجزء : ( 18 ) - الصفحة: ( 354 ) ﴿ Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The parable of His Light is as (if there were) a niche and within it a lamp, the lamp is in glass, the glass as it were a brilliant star, lit from a blessed tree, an olive, neither of the east (i.e. neither it gets sun-rays only in the morning) nor of the west (i.e. nor it gets sun-rays only in the afternoon, but it is exposed to the sun all day long), whose oil would almost glow forth (of itself), though no fire touched it. Light upon Light! Allah guides to His Light whom He wills. And Allah sets forth parables for mankind, and Allah is All-Knower of everything.

personally i had a similar experience with the blinding lights, i never made a link of it until you mentioned it in the video, and i understood exactly what you were talking about its something very difficult to explain but it gives you a subtle but very self-noticeable appreciation for a lot of the small things around you.

Peace be on you Bobby. I was bawling like a baby while watching your video because I was thinking if I would ever meet my Maker - if He would grant me the honour to be in His Presence in the Hereafter. Then I was thinking if I have done enough to get the chance to meet Allah after I die and am resurrected. All these thoughts came crashing into my brain while I was watching this video hence the bawling... Thks Bobby.
