To be more precise, the hadith does not say "bedouins" but he talks of "sheep herders"... Which in my opinion, includes also the american far west which was first known for animals herding activities (cowboy culture) and now its a region that contains huge megacities with the tallest skyscrapers.

Salam aleykum Bobby, I also would like to add to the hadith about music, that Prophet Muhammad (SAW) also told that people will wear music on their head. It reminds us about headphones. That's amazing, that somebody 1400 years ago could imagine that. One last minor sign that is remains to be seen according to some scholars is the Drying of Euphrates river and therefore showing mountain of gold. Many people will fight for it, but Prophet told us to stay away from it, as 99 out 100 will die trying to get this gold. May God Almighty bless you and your family!

Bobby please read this: The reason why people say to interpret and understand the Quran based on scholars is because of a few things: 1- The prophet said that the best of people are his generation and the ones after them and the ones after them. This is why we take knowledge of Quran from these 3 generations because the prophet said it they are the best of people. 2- Logically, the closer you are to the source (Prophet and revelation), the more accurate it would be in regards to interpretation. 3- If everyone would interpret the Quran based on individual understanding, it would become a game and turn into a guessing game of interpretation based on feelings and emotions like Christianity. 4- Many things are mentioned in the Quran without detail and the Prophet details them for us. For example, prayer is not mentioned in detail (how to pray), so the prophet details that in what is known as Hadith. The companions of the prophet memorize and pass the words of the Prophet to the next generation and so on. Scholars mainly memorize Quran and Hadith and tell us the rulings based on them. I hope this helps and Allah knows best.

And the Salaf is the first 3 most pious generations, the best of which is the prophets generation, i.e the companions of the prophet. I worked within secondary education in the UK as an English teacher from 2009 to 2018. There was an expression that was making the rounds in staffrooms some years back: the rise of the literate illiterates. What some educators were observing was the increase in students who were functionally literate but had very little grasp of higher order thinking skills, i.e, comparison, analysis, evaluation, critical thinking, the ability to decipher subtleties in tone and style, recognition of symbols and allegories, etc. Things are probably worse now with the rise of the tiktok gen, with attention spans of five seconds. Re the popularity of '50 shades...', I cast my eye over the first couple of pages of a friend's copy and was struck by the simplicity of the grammar and language - as though written for a teen audience. Perhaps that was part of its appeal - Sweet Valley Porn! Keep up the good work, brother Bobby. I hope this comment helps keep you in the algorithm! There's a hadith I read the other day that comes to mind for you, me, and all seekers: "Whoever takes a path in search of knowledge, Allah will cause him to walk in one of the paths to Paradise/Jannah". I have to say I really love your reactions and I love how honest you are when reacting. It’s good to see someone on his journey to find the truth and I will pray for your guidance. Watching the videos feels like a pro situation for both of us, while you learn about Islam I learn about Christianity (not that I believe in it it’s just very interesting). Like for eg. the fact that eve was the reason Adam ate from the tree. In Islam, eve aka. Hawwa wasnt. They both decided, together, to eat from that tree and we don’t put the blame on either of them rather than that we say the satan did his work and god is all forgiving. It’s just very interesting to hear that in Christianity Adam ate from the tree because of eve, so basically eve is being blamed right? The two religions have similar stories but we always find little differences that are not so little in the end. This is another BIG reason and evidence of why Islam is appealing to women. Many of the female reverts to Islam from Christianity that I’ve seen always react positively to how Original Sin does not exist in Islam. In Islam, we are responsible for our own actions. Can’t always blame others (especially those who often blame women) for our own choices and decisions. ADAM & EVE (May Allah’s blessings be upon them): The choice to eat the fruit from the tree was their own to make. AND the choice to repent and humble themselves was their own too. Quran 6:164 - No soul shall bear the sin of another (paraphrased) But also, as the Prophet (pbuh) said, “Actions are by intentions”. So if our intentions are to please Allah (swt), then inshAllah the choices we make are good for us.

At 14:03, about the garden of Eden. In the Quran, there is no mentioned that Adam listened to Eve about eating the forbidden fruit. In the Quran, they both were misled by Syaitan to eat the fruit.

Salam Bobby, hope you're well! Just one key difference about the forbidden tree @ 14:03 - Adam and Eve both listened to Satan who enticed to eat from the tree. This is our Islamic beleif, therefore we do not put blame solely onto Eve, as both Adam and Eve shared in the same sin of eating from the forbideen tree. Take care!

You’re absolutely right who should we acquire knowledge from. For me, 2 important conditions should be present in the scholar who I acquire knowledge from: 1. His academic history and who taught him. You can think about it as a continuous chain that extends to the prophet (peace be upon him) and his companions. These scholars tend to support their statements with either Quranic verses or narrations from the prophet 2. No conflict of interest (unfortunately, the best examples are scholars who are incarcerated in the prisons of the tyrants, many of them without trials or attorneys for decades). Of course there are many knowledgeable honest scholars and still free.

We truly live in the end of days, everyone with a clear mind can see it now, though most people have a clouded mind and just believe that everything will continue as is. I had this feeling almost 20 years ago, then in 2007 I watched the documentary "Zeitgeist" and it was a kind of revelation, in the movie it is suspected that we are closing in on an era of rapid change and one that we will live through in our life time, it will also be the last stage. I think they got that from the Mayans, that predicted this to happen, which is interesting. Yes the Bible speaks of the end times and so does the Quran but even before those written works there were cultures that have predicted the end of times. No matter what kind of prediction you look at it all points to this exact moment in time. Will it take 10 years for the end? 20 years? 50 years? It's hard to predict but one thing is certain, we are going into a direction of certain doom. Will humanity prevail in the end? I cannot say but it doesn't look good, on the other hand, humanity as a whole probably doesn't deserve to last much longer...

The Prophet pbuh used to shout in the masjid too. The sahaba say that they could hear him in the market because of how loud he was. They say veins would appear on his neck and his face would become red. He would speak to them like there's an army coming. So I don't know how to reconcile these two. Muhammad Hoblos was the one that Allah guided me through and may Allah reward him abundantly. If I hadn't watched his stuff I wouldn't be praying now and neither would my wife. Just now we can call ourselves muslims because no salah no islam.
