-Preaching shapes the lives of people, -Preaching gives counsels to people, -Preaching educates people -Preaching is the life of the every believer, -Preaching strengthens the weaks -Preaching lift up the fallen -Preaching is never outdated -Preaching is descriptive and prescriptive, It is descriptive - it describes the true condition of your life, it unveils the curtains that covers the other issues of your life, it is also presciptive it prescribes of what we need. It is prescriptive- we are being examine by the word of God, and prescribes by the word of God. It tells us what to do, what we should be, where we should be, and what to believe and what to become, and the purpose of this, that we may enjoy abundantly what the Lord Jesus Christ offering us, He came, to give us life, not just to give us life, that we might enjoy it abundantly, let us not avoid the prescription of the Word of God, let us follow what the Word of God prescribes us and let us take it seriously.
