I can relate. I did the same to my husband 13 years ago (before Christ). I recently (3 months ago) became born again and have been praying daily for my husband to be saved too. A couple months later the Holy Spirit convicted me hardcore that I needed to dig up that lie from my past and confess it all to my husband. I tried to negotiate with God that it would only hurt him and that it was so long ago, he'd rather not even know now! But God kept convicting me. I finally told him the truth about 10 days ago. At first he said he wished I hadn't told him. He was hurt and angry, but it humbled him. God needed him to be humbled in order to realize that he needs Him. We're more in love now than ever before. My husband has not only forgiven me, but he is now serving God too and we're growing together spiritually! It's so beautiful!! God answers prays, we just have to trust in Him, He always has a plan that we may not understand! You see, God waited to convict me until my husband had seen the changes in me. The first 2 months after I became saved he told me almost daily how "different" I was. He said that I showed him that God is real.
