As a punjabi, lets clear the ground reality, in punjab good quality education is mostly in convent schools and handful of private ones. So, there is a system that if u pray there, u will get concessions. Second, there is a huge hype in migrant population from bihar and up (not racist), agreeable that sikhs are converting too, but as a hindu i have observed that sikhs are very conserved about their religion. So basically the migrants are offered ration, which obviously is alluring and then they convert. So there are 2 reasons mainly: the offered goods(lures migrant population) and the blind faith(the sikh). And trust me its not out of a belief in god, if so i dont think a sikh can ever undermine their gurus. Happy to see that u addressed this issue😊

Junior Model School these are three schools which produced Brilliant Students in history and Students Of these Schools are the Teachers in Army Schools My sister also was the student of Govt. School, And she gave the service in Army School Yol Cantt. Dharamsala of Commerce teacher. and None of the student who get less then 78% marks in her duty period time... and every year 7-8 students was scored 90% plus Marks.. If Govt. students teach on that level..... means Govt. schools are good

I don't see any problem in this. It will also collapse as the Dera Sacha Sodha did a few years ago. But the problems like the caste system, drugs, and poverty are really concerning issues in Punjab, and I think SGPC, as the biggest Sikh organization, needs to address these issues. Second, I think SGPC should have a good school in every city of Punjab; they make crores every year, but I don't see they are doing anything to give good education to Sikhs. We need an alternate convent group of schools.

That is a good observation by you. All divine philosophies are panentheistic at their core. Only when interpreted wrongly, people start to think one prescribes a theory of more than one god. Whether you believe in Christ consciousness, Allah, Paarbramha or Yahweh, you’re referring to the same oneness. It doesn’t really matter if you’re a Punjabi and want to look at that oneness of being through the Biblical viewpoint, it’s absolutely justified as a human right. We can say that he went back to god and god sent him back cause he didn't accept when he went the 1st time, but we don't say it cause it makes us look bad. The one who has some authority doesn't really need to "show" to people that he has any authority and Jesus tries to show his authority multiple times. Jesus asked god to take away the cup of sorrows from him, but Gurus said "Tera Kia meetha laage". Guru didn't really "show" authority to prove something, it was realized by people that Guru had authority by seeing his actions and Gurus paved a practical way which a human can follow, but can the path of Jesus cannot be called truely practical. When the British ruled they tried were converting Sikhs into Christians. They tried building a church right outside Sri Harmandir sahib google it. They did a lot of damage. Even today a lot of Singhs tie there beards wear a tadi pagg. They banned our taus and Dilruba instruments and brought the baja you see today in kirtan that’s what you play in church. They brought in politics we have voting systems before all gurdwara had panj pyare. Along with Sri Guru Granth sahib ji we had Sri Dasam Granth sahib ji Parkash but they separated it. Hi Jhumroo. Great video. I have a few clarifications. I am a Christian. So view my comments from that perspective. First point is on anti conversion law from a different perspective: In India, as in any true democratic country we are all feel free to choose which ever political party we want to join. The political parties are equally free to propagate and canvass for people to accept their idea of how the country is to be governed. There are very few rules here and whatever few rules are in the constitution are rarely enforced. Here one vilifies and demonizes other parties and horse trading and inducements of money and power is really the norm. . So why would a someone who believes in the goodness of their religion not be allowed to convince others to join him or her. How can there be a law against that. It can be to any religion or to become an atheist. I agree one can tell about the merits of his or her conviction without vilifying others. However every religion should be willing to be critically challenged on their scripture without resorting to cries of hurting sentiments. My view is that feel free to criticize and be open to criticism. All without descending into abusing each other. Second point is on what is real Christian conversion. Real Christian conversion is never about numbers or signing up a church membership. One cannot be a Christian like that. You can be born in a Christian family but is not a Christian unless you personally accept Jesus in the heart as ones personal savior. The one who is saved knows it. No church teaches that one becomes a Christian by becoming a member or undergoing a ritualistic baptism . Its always a personal faith. So forced conversions are an oxy moron. Thirdly: Christian discipleship always talks of serving others and loving enemy and praying for those who persecute you. So when genuine Christians shares the good news of the relationship with Christ it is with the sincere belief of sharing something precious. The poor hear it more as the rich ( be it a so called Christian or from any other religion) are so caught up following the pleasures of current life and the feeling of superiority that comes with wealth and success ignore it. All are welcome. Most of us are cultural followers of a religion. we also like being part of an organization. But search for the real God starting from one's own religion. The poor or the broken hearted have a need. To paraphrase the bible, the sick will seek the doctor. And if someone claims to be a Christian and does not do something for the weak, the poor and then they are not really a Christian. So the objective of serving the poor is a commandment. It is not required for the person to be a Christian or become a Christian afterwards. Its their personal choice. Fourth: As mentioned in the video, the reality is that marketing God is very lucrative and there will be charlatans and God men and women as in any religion. But there are genuine people as well. Expose the charlatans. But what is not true will fade away. Fifth: Miracles by faith in Christ is very true. There are many genuine cases I myself know of. Search for it in the internet. You can quickly find many a genuine testimony as well. Sixth: Pentecostal and evangelical churches are more active in faith healing. They believe the mainstream churches have become very ritualistic and have forgotten some of the core teachings of the early church about salvation and faith healings and the power of prayer. However being non hierarchical and non ritualistic, many loose cannons and profit seekers come in as well.

I liked the video.. it's informative and facts based. I don't have any problem with Christianity because i do have good friends who are Christian but i do not support the part where conversion comes. Converting people from one religion to another is not at all a good idea. I am sure Jesus never wanted this. He wanted people to stay in harmony and peace. I don't think that christian people are the only one with peace and harmony. This missionaries part is okay if it to help poor irrespective of knowing their religion but if the motive is to convert them later then this sewa is also not helping to follow Jesus preaching. Why shouldn't people from underprivileged sections accept help like money or free education for their children when the government has failed to provide basic facilities and quality education? Instead of questioning this, the focus should be on holding the government accountable for systemic failures. If others are stepping up to help the poor, it's natural for those in need to accept support. Fix the root issues, and such conversions wouldn't even be a discussion. Punjab really don't need anti-conversion law because that is not a good solution, i believe. It will only create hate, complicate the situation, and won't solve the problem of forced conversions. These issues are receiving more coverage these days due to BJP's influence. Real issues like education, healthcare, and basic infrastructure are being sidelined.

Kudos! This was a pretty balanced and quite open-minded opinion on a rather polemical subject. The one glaring shortcoming I see in this video though is that it fails to even acknowledge the root of the problem: rampant caste based discrimination by upper caste Jat and Khatris that has driven the Dalits into the arms of the proselytizers.

Christian community ignored by politicians. From independence till today Christian people have no any ias, ips,mla,mp till today while their population is more than two lacs. Punjabi Christian cannot got any govt job without changing their religion to dalit Hindu or dalit Sikh. Govt has Hindu making policy against Christian. Christian people has no land, no business,no govt job, no proper govt facilities.

firstly Christianity is not initial rise in India and secondly Indian is land of religion Buddhism Sikhism Hinduism Indian can't provide jobs on the basic of religion any of them, there is no policy against Christian. dalit got they reservation on the basic of discrimination not of the basic of caste and religion but caste is factor which considerable. land, check one time on google how many land christianity hold in India. Indian govt. can't provide facilities for promoting religion change. i do not respect christianity because of its double standards in bible no word like that those are follow other relegion do not help them and again again ask them to convert in christianity for their needs. some people follow christianity for reservation in school and hospital no one believe in christianity. and i also believe no one believe in christianity they are Indian they just take some benefit a day one they can not get benefit they become Hindus again mark my word we are Indians first christianity is just a group of rich people or in other word a group of people which exploit other religion people by technology and money. Christian itni donation dete nahi so question is church k paas itna paani ki tarah paisa kaha se aara. Who is funding these Churches to provide free ration, money to people to convert. Jab me delhi tha waha ek Gupta family thi jaha meh rent pe rahta tha onke padosi batre the in logo ko per family member ko 5 lakh rupees mile total 20 lakh plus ek choti school van i am talking about one family, millions of family converted 5 lakh na b diye ho 50k ya 1k b die ho garib logo ko plus inhe free ka ration b milta heh jo lena chae. So itna paisa kaha se aara. Propogate ur religion is ok but luring poor people and change demography of india is this acceptable as per our constitution?
