I'm so much into your videos... I watched several videos about Helm, Terraform, etc, but none of them described these tools so good as your videos!! Thanks on behalf of everyone!! I'm glad I found your videos about DevOps Tools!

Great suggestion, I might look into custom Helm Charts in a few months. Still takes a lot of researching time :D

@@christianlempa True, in Production scenarios organisations are maintain & versioning own helm charts rather public.

How can we make this work on minikube as the nginx port is not available outside the cluster
@jobetinfosec34092 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the useful information! Bitnami WordPress chart installs by default Apache webserver but I would need to install Nginx instead... (and PHP-FPM 8.1 as well)... What should I do? Maybe create a custom Helm chart and then add the appropriate Docker hub images?

You have great content! Can you please make or direct me to a tutorial on HOW to install Helm for on premise Linux and Kubernetes? I need to deploy my application to a local Linux machine (which is currently set up with Azure) and can't find a clear example of how to do that (without involving an image registry in my values.yaml file). Thanks!
@christianlempa2 жыл бұрын
Actually, there is no difference in deploying charts for local or cloud clusters. Helm doesn't care where your cluster is hosted, it connects to the cluster contexts using your kubeconfig file.
@MihaiGoRunning2 жыл бұрын
@@christianlempa I understand, sorry, I didn't find examples with any other registries than docker or azure... I'm a beginner in this field.

Can I hire you to teach me the basics of Helm please. it is killing me, and I am struggling with config, deployment etc. I have a good grasp of Docker and K3s, but Helm is not my friend. I own a company so I can pay legit. I live in Ireland so please let me know. Love the videos, Thanks Christian! Shane.

Hello Christian, forgive me for going off topic but you had briefly showcased an open source mind mapping app in a past vdieo that looks like hand witten (possibly) like a chalkboard, in one of your past videos but I cannot find it because it was not the main topic of that video. I would be truly grateful if you would share the name with me please? - Dennis
