Actually, around 600 million tons of H are burned into He and some 4 million tons of mass are transformed into energy every second. 9:27 "Borexino has a volume of 160,000cm³" Where did you get this number? It's equal to 160 litres or 0.16m³, which is much too small to detect Neutrinos.

slow down, maybe you were right, or maybe you weren't. The point of this video is the concept. He said 4 million tons and you said 600 million tons. It's a huge gap i know, but this numbers always different in any literature anyway. He got the concept right, that's what we were looking for. By the way, great appreciation to the creator and uploader of this video.

4 million tonnes of hydrogen is converted into pure energy-- as mass is converted into energy here. 600 million tonnes of hydrogen is converted into 596 millions of helium each second-- is the correct statement It is most probably an overlooked mistake-- we don't expect experienced and learned narrators like the ones Launch pad Astronomy has-- not know these things Thank you Sir

Thanks for very detailed explanation. But is the sun really a plasma ball? 1. The density of the sun is 1.4 g/cc. The density of SOLID H and He are 0.076 g/cc and 0.2 g/cc respectively. This alone tells that the sun is probably not made of H or He. Same story for the supposedly "failed star" Jupiter, at 1.33 g/cc density and does it have a solid rocky core at the center where nuclear fusion was supposed to happen???? 2. The pressure and temperature of the sun's core is "modeled" to nearly equal, or exceed those of Hydrogen bomb's. If that's the case, I don't think H and He cannot exist in plasma state in the core any long term. Moreover, all of H in the core should have fused into He instantly when such pressure and temperature was reached billions of years ago. Yet' it's slowly, continuously and incredibly stably fusing H into He all this time.... Really? 3. The radiation from the sun is that of blackbody. H and He plasma don't do that, they emit lines of spectrums, like neon sign does. 4. Looking at the solar activity close up from the telescope, they are not that of some gas or plasma, but of some magma... Did you know that even the clouds in the sky or smokes from chimney are mostly solid particles like water ice or shoot? Gases are very thin and mostly invisible. 5. Some stars repeat supernova explosions, again and again, never disappears, like iPTF14hls and many more... 6. Isn't detecting neutrino very very indirect way of proving that the sun is fusing hydrogen? How do we know that light detected is not from some stray protons out of radioactive rock underground, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc?

Way too many violations of thermodynamic laws are ignored in the standard solar gas model. This is just not acceptable to the thinking mind. Notice that the visible wavelength graph at the 4 minute mark looks like a capacitance discharge graph. In this is displayed the correct model of electrical, not nuclear, activity performed upon a liquid metal hydrogen surface lattice, in which No laws of thermodynamics are violated.
