My 20 year old son is battling this now. He identifies as a trans-woman and his sexuality is confused. Frankly it confuses me just thinking about it. I have been in prayer over him and trusting that God will change his mind, change his heart, and give him clarity on his identity. We have talked about it, the Holy Spirit guided that conversation. I reminded him that he is 1) an image bearer of God, 2) he was born a man, & 3) his assignment is that of a man and that this experience may be here before him to help others in the same position. And above everything, I love him and God loves him more than I love him. The conversation went well between us BUT he is still battling this and it’s just pulling other things into his mind that keeps him confused, unsettled, and emotionally disregulated. Please pray for my son.

I will agree with you in prayer for your son's complete deliverance from Satan's lies and confusion! My son is also struggling with his sexual orientation as he told me a few years ago that he is bi-sexual but has been calling a certain man his boyfriend and this person has visited from out of town and is due to visit again soon. My son knows where I stand with what God and His word says about sexuality and that I cannot agree or condone what he is doing. But I told him I will always love him, he is my son. I'm praying for complete and total deliverance from this deception and freedom in his life through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit!! 💛

My son is 20 yrs old too, now having a relationship with same sex. He knows we love him and I shared verses to him. I know forcing him will do no good. He will only rebel. But I am still holding on and focusing on God's grace and Jesus' work rather than looking at my son's weakness. God's words is Spirit and life (John 6:63). What we shared to them will not be in vain.... Read Romans specially chapter 1 onwards about all man incapable to righteousness to until God send Jesus and He will help change our ways to Christ like living.

I need this. I was raised with 3 brothers and shamed for being a girl…I repent of trying to be more like my brothers as if it was going to save me from poor treatment bc it didn’t. No amount of pretending made me a boy…mixed messages only led me to hate myself…but God!! Making Jesus my Lord and Savior and learning who u am in Him, has saved my life. I’m now proud of who He created me to be and forgiven those misguided attempts to better me by others. God has called me to disciple others and I’ve hit serious opposition, too. By women and men! Standing up for truth in one way or another has cost me a job, a friendship, and strained my family relationships. But I will not be silent. I identify as a child of the living God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He reigns supreme in three persons and His son, Yeshua, is not only my savior, but my LORD. Yeshua, himself, said he came not to bring peace, but a sword. He is Immanuel and will not leave me when I have to pay the cost to follow Him. I can't wait to get your book, Lisa. You helped change my life with Lioness Arising and the fight for femaleness is so important to me as a doula, wannabe midwife, and supporter of body-led, anatomical birth. Just this morning, I read that the founder of La Leche League stepped down because she cannot stand for the direction the organization is going to embrace trans-lactation and "chest-feeding". Men showing up in the most intimate of women's spaces, birth and breastfeeding, is beyond wild!! It's utterly demonic. The feminists are on board because it was their agenda all along. Having loving, Spriit-led conversations, with knowledge of how the Bible and science do not contradict is vital for the future of this nation and our world. The Lord is in His holy temple. Let the earth keep silent before Him.

100 percent we need to be bold and not come under the spirit of fear. Satan greatest weapons is fear and intimidation! We need to pray against those spirits and not come under their influence. Watching this led me to the thought that I find it interesting that one of the larger conversations in the queer community around gender is on the idea of “comp het” or “compulsory heterosexuality” as a forced behaviour. How quickly the enemy tries to pervert nature with a “nurture” spin that shifts blame to others and is underpinned by a spirit of rebellion.

I know this conversation is about marriage, but I missed committing on Bait of Satan. My question on that is how do I forgive myself when I realize I’ve been the one who hurt someone deeply? And yes we have to fight for male and female. Satan is after our God given sex.

I'm not a pastor ,but I guess it starts by that acknowledgment that you hurt someone. So if it's possible to go to that person to apologize, then that's a good first step. If not possible,then a call or note,maybe. If they've passed on,there might not be much you can do about that. But in terms of forgiving yourself, I believe it really takes humility to do that. Humility to accept your humanity and the imperfections that come with it. Your humility to accept that in Christ you have been forgiven ALL sins by the Father,past ,present and future. And if He's forgiven you, why would you not do likewise?
