Hi Ken, nicw to hear you whistling! it seems to be a habit currently out of fashion, I used to work quite hard at it myself but now it is still rather difficult for me so i don't bother much!. It could be one of many things that I made a 'false'm start at and quickly learned the habit of doing it badly. It seems that while we do continue to keep must the same learning abilities throughout our lives we find it increasingly difficult to un-learn bad habits!. One popular 'bad' habit that seems far too common is the habit of subscription to beliefs and ideologies that have no rational foundation. The main issue for me is that without rational foundation the subscriber to a belief is unable to engage in any rational debate on the subject and can only resort to denial and resentment when challenged. I am currently investigating the potential for such tendencies to have some biological origin, that such neurological pathways could be the product of one or more evolutionary characteristics that persist because the do not compromise breeding potential but do not offer any significant advantage, they become just part of our nature and could well be seen in many other species. One example that springs to mind being the way so many birds and other animals gather in flocks and herds which actually makes life much easier for their predators!, it might be true that the chances of any one individual getting caught when there are so many others available but it takes less effort to find one in the crowd than it would be to find any individual alone. It is therefore arguable that the herd instinct does not confer biological advantage! a proposition which is entirely consistent with the principle of evolution by chance and coincidence. This concept would seem to me to be quite adequate to explain the origin and nature of the whole cognitive delusion thing, it is just a biological accident! a trick that our brains play on us, that we are so unable to separate fantasy from reality!. There is one underlying idea here that OI have been thinking about, that such delusions are so popular because us poor humans find rational thinking rather slow and difficult, so much easier to just latch onto some concocted idea, adopt it as a 'belief' and thus beyond reproach. This then gives us the conditions in which all the disputes and arguments that are so popular all stem from the same sources, passionate emotional convictions and ideologies which as you say must be true because so many others also subscribe and thus any who do not agree and subscribe must be enemies of the truth and right thinking people, fit only for destruction. The product of all this for me has become a resolute determination to avoid any assertion of absolute definition, to not make up my mind about anything, to continue being endlessly critical of all my own thoughts and ideas and absolutely refuse to believe anything!. Cheers, Richard

He is splitting hairs about words and sentences from past. Even the modern languages keep evolving every passing year and he tries to latch on to words from past. Ofcourse Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam and all other religions didn't call themselves as whatever the modern name they are being called today. That's just no point to be even argued it's just common sense. Religions are man made so its obvious they are not what they were started by their founders. He likes greeks but he doesn't use the same hair splitting methods for that..for example he never argues there was nothing called Greece in the past so there can't be greek philosophies. Ammon Hillman is probably the most captivating and entertaining person I've ever witnessed. Add Danny Jones's reactions and you've got gold.

Sorry to hear you also wasted 57 minutes of your day. Without the context of that interview, how would you rate that as an actual debate?

I definitely believe in god. I was raised a catholic and appreciate the idea behind that religion but I guess I find myself being more of a pagan as of late. I had a revelation and came up with a theory in 1999 that the earth was born from the Sun. So the sun was our mother and every few hundred million years the sun has an event similar to that of a CME(a child). Sort of like a volcano erupts too I’m thinking. As the material drifts further away from the sun it cools down forming layers of crust suitable for holding ice etc.( the accretion process has begun). But anyhow that’s what I’ve thought now for over 20 years and I’m sure some pagan at some point in time may have thought the same. After doing a lot of research I now conclude that the Bible was created like similar texts as an intervention to the wicked behavior that us humans indulge in. I still think it is a good foundation for a man or woman to live their life and to pass on to their children. It has helped a lot of people I know change their life for the better. I believe what the Doctor is saying about the Greek texts he’s translated but the whole “sail Hatan” bs disturbs me. The weird stuff I’ve heard about from his private group. I have a lot of questions like is Medea really the new Christ or is she another false prophet or just mythological? What about Africa and Yahu? Isn’t that culture older than Greek? And how does energy play a role in all of this lol
