When many think about God having a "chosen" people, it leads them to immediately ask, “Then does God just arbitrarily choose some people to go to Heaven and choose others to go to Hell?” The short answer is “No!”, God invites everyone to believe in Him and worship Him!
But this is a complex and challenging concept, and if we are completely honest, it can often scare us, or confuse us, cause us to doubt the Bible or our faith, or even for some to become angry at God. But it shouldn't!
What if God’s electing and choosing of His people is actually one of the most loving, invitational, and motivational truths in all of our faith?!
