English translations can have their benefits but theres nothing better than the Arabic, and we should all strive to learn the language and understand the correct understanding behind the Quran & Ahadith from authentic sources. Especially when it comes to Jesus alayhi salaam, a lot of people misunderstand the meaning behind phrases such as "a spirit" etc this is where its important to go back to the books of the scholars to see how this is understood and not left to our own intellects. This is very true, things can be “lost in translation,” always better to read the original language. We lived in KSA for over 15 years and my daughters grew up speaking Arabic, my wife is an Arabic speaker from Africa, and I learn languages very easily. Arabic was fun to learn. Always good to start the children with other languages from an early age. Very beneficial in the business world.

@@JG-il3gpbecause christians think that the word of God is Jesus and that a spirit/soul from God means the holy spirit which is the 3rd part of the trinity or triune christian god and because this is not mentioned explicitly for other Prophets that somehow this makes Jesus a god like how christian doctrine says. in islam a word from God means a command from Allah where he simply says; “Be” and it is! so Jesus was spoken into existence by the command or word of Allah. a spirit from Allah means that every living thing with a soul is from Allah ﷻ not just Prophet Jesus عليه السلام but every human being and this is how the story of Adam عليه السلام is. where first Allah created his body and then after his soul was made to enter his body and was brought to life.

Jesus never died for anybody sin. He wasn't on the cross and wasn't in the tomb either. It wasn't Jesus who had been crucified but his best follower. Days before crucifixion, there were gathering among Jesus and his followers about the search of him by the Roman. One of his followers volunteered to take his cloth and be in his place. Seemed alike, he then being captured. While asked, he admitted that he is Jesus the King of Jews. After been tortured he end up his life nailed on the cross. The Roman used to leave the corpse of those whom against them unburied as it was for a lesson to the others. Confusion occured when someone knew the name but not the person. After the crucifixion the Roman realized that they had hung the wrong guy and decided to leave the tomb of Jesus empty so it could be a reason that the body of Jesus was stolen. It's more reasonable than displaying the wrong corpse. Then Pilate Pontius, the governor of Rome in Judea ordered some soldiers to guard the graveyard. Not long after that Jesus' family including his mother, Mary came to visit the tomb to make sure whether it was really Jesus whom been crucified. On the day of crucifixion, all of Jesus' followers left away from witnessing the event. Mary was there but she could not see Jesus up close. Upon arrived at the graveyard, they reasoned that it was a Jewish custom to perfume the recently dead. When they got to Jesus' tomb they were surprised to see that there was no body there. The next day, Jesus returned back. Those who have no knowledge that he was replaced by someone else were shocked. They thought they saw a spirit or a ghost. Jesus denied and asked them for food to eat as to prove that he was really himself, not a spirit or a ghost. I find it difficult to believe that the Prophet (pbuh) would say the last part, "no matter what he has done." It doesn't seem in line with what the Qur'an teaches, which is that both belief and good deeds are needed to enter paradise.

It means eventually, not necessarily directly that a person will enter paradise unless Allah forgives a person.. A person would not remain in hell forever if he/she enters it just from this belief.

Jesus did not teach about Muhammad or Allah. They didn't exist for 600 years. Jesus taught about the Father. He prayed to the Father, like you picking up your cellphone and calling home. He taught that we should approach the Father, who loves us. Allah has no son, or any offspring. This god is not the same God.

No prophet before Jesus ever mentioned that someone else dies for your sins. They never mentioned once that God is not 1 but 3-in-1 multipack instead. Abraham, Moses, Jacob, Solomon, David, etc.. any of them, never worshipped a human being as God. They all personally sought forgiveness and repented to God directly without anybody dying for them to be accepted. And they died upon this belief. The prophet Muhammed peace be upon him, returned the people to worshipping one true God, the creator of everything that exists who has no partners or sons, or daughters, or uncles or roommates. He is perfect one and alone and there is nothing that we can possibly imagine that is comparable to him. This is the universal message preached by all messengers of God sent throughout time. It seems like the Christians who claim they follow Jesus are the only ones who seem to disagree that God has kids just like the pagan Romans believed about their gods. Only the Muslims are pure monotheists and follow the examples of all the previous prophets sent by God including Jesus and all those before him, peace and blessings of Allah be upon all of them.

One of the major turning points for me in my journey reverting to Islam was how beloved Mary the mother of Jesus is. Islam says Mary is a shining beacon of righteousness and the best women who ever lived! As a woman we should all take her example. She has her own chapter in the Quran and she is the only women who does. I love Mary all Muslims do. She is given the heights respect in Islam and so is Jesus. I hope more people are called to the truth and I see it happening more now then ever.
