That bit where she said she doesn't want to die being remembered for her own artwork was problably the most unique thing I've heard from a world renowned contemporay artist ever! Sure many artist's work today makes strong political statements, but still within the realm of art, and what Tracy's doing is a very tangible important contribution to the future of free art, not a sexy as "srt activism" but every bit as important, arguably more so, bc she if anyone Knows the arena she's contributing to. Remarkable and impressive.

I met Tracey many years ago at a party during Frieze. She is a very warm spirit, we laughed a lot and danced to The Stone Roses. What a wonderful thing she is doing for Artists and the town of Margate. I hope to visit soon.

What a remarkable lady! To give a chance to people to do their work, to learn, all free of charge is unheard off! I so wish I could do that! Because of family commitments I was not able to carry on with my art I desperately wanted to make. My priorities had to be arranged in a obvious way and my art was last on the list. Recovered, yes, but her life's so difficult now due to the effects of the surgeries. It takes so much time to maintain her body and inconvenience is very annoying but she's such a fighter!! Having her mind focused on her art helps her body immune system keep her well. 👍❤

I met Emin in Toronto 25 years ago. I don't normally make an effort to meet artists; I prefer to look at their work instead, but Tracy was one of the most charismatic people I've met.
