I love this art I discovered Van Dyck while reading Eugene Onegin by Pushkin. The art and book are beautiful.

When the narrator spoke about the jewelry I kept waiting to hear about the bracelet, and what it was made of (it certainly wasn’t gold), and any possible significance. But I enjoyed this very much. Thank you.

This should be in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, next to the portrait of her with her husband.

Fortunately this portrait was bought by an art gallery so we can see it. I can't find any info on the portrait of the Prince of Wales, later Charles II which was auctioned the same day. Does somebody know who bought it?

Born into the absolute epitome of the lap of luxury, never to want for anything for her entire life. The 0.0000001% of the 1%. Yeah, poor her.

"The best portrait painter in the whole of Europe" surely that title belongs to Rembrandt.

ok we can all agree that Van Dyck, Rembrandt and Velasquez are three of the best painters of the XVII's century...
