I recommend reading her album lyrics from the official source, such as the album cover. For Stripped I recommend Genius, for Liberation MetroLyrics, which were some parts accurate, other parts censored, such as Like I Do. She's underrated as a songwriter but there's such storytelling in her lyrics. Especially Stripped, but other work aswell, that it's worth to know about. Love what you said about Christina as performer! Yeah, since she's so known as a singer, it kind of overshadows other aspects of her image, however she's amazing performer! Huge stage presence! Speaking of stage presence, live performances I recommend reacting to: Ain't No Other Man - MTV Movie Awards ´06 Oh Mother - MTV Back to Basics special ´06 Walk Away - David Letterman 2004 Beautiful - SNL 2003 (these first Beautiful performances were tear-jerkers) Impossible & Beautiful - AMAs 2003 Ave Maria - 2020 The X Tour - Maria and Twice performances were usually amazing but I don't have a specific video recommendation rn.

The saddest thing that Christina was one of the first to collaborate with Nicky, when she was not even a third of what she is today, that song must have been a single and one more hit in Xtina's career. Bionic was not the beginning of Christina's decline, unfortunately the record label's little faith in her promotion is what led to that and the following Christina gems being made. Because it was a whole sabotage to her from a whole lotta people on the industry. But actually, Xtina was working on electronic music since 2006, and she had planned to do an album full electro. But then her record label wasn't really supportive with her and they cut all the budget for Bionic promo so she had to pay everything from her own pocket to do it anyways. Because that's the kind of artist she is. She has a vision and she has to do it. Nobody can say her "NO". She is a strong woman and a legend by now for that reason. Her work ethic and her music versatility is more important for her than numbers or sales. And we love her for THAT.
