I mean I saw Sabrinas Xtina covers but not just anyone can master Xtina songs. You’d have to be like Jennifer Hudson or Jessi J with huge voices. No doubt Christina is amazing… That said Sabrina is a completely different style, range and type of vocalist. They sounded beautiful together. Kelly Clarkson ( Queen of belting) once said something to the effect you don’t always have to belt to make people feel more or less. Sabrina has a soft, airy, gentle quality to her vocals. I happen to think Karen Carpenter was one of most amazing vocalist but she never sang like Christina and christina has never had the clean, clarity of that voice.

Xtina never had clarity? That’s not true at all. Make sure you’ve listened to ALL of her songs/performances before making that claim. She’s had tons of albums and performances. We’re talking about 25 freaking years. You never saw “I love you Porgy” live . Or heard her sing “save me from myself “. I love how you say “Sabrina sings soft” like it’s rare or something. ANYone can sing soft, but not everyone can be a powerhouse like Xtina. Xtina song “save me..” she’s soft the WHOLE time. It’s just not her signature style….

Lotus and Liberation were decent but I’ll say they’re not as strong as her 2010 stuff and back . Stripped still remains best. And her second Spanish album WAS great and got awards! Instead of dwelling on negative stuff let’s be more optimistic. Xtina doesn’t owe anyone anything anyway she could’ve stopped music after “Back to Basics” 2006. She already had plenty success. There’s no rule saying “artists must slay forever”. I’m grateful Xtina is still out here doing things. New album or not
