Christina Novelli & Reigns - While My Angel Sleeps | Official Music Video

As many of you know, Christina Novelli’s mum recently passed away.
The music video for ‘While My Angel Sleeps’ was filmed on her mum’s birthday, a few days before her unexpected passing.
Ultimately, this is a very sensitive project for Christina to release out into the world, so she has asked management and Black Hole Recordings to release this on her behalf while she takes some much-needed time out to grieve and heal.

Written & performed together with UK vocalist Reigns, The single's irresistible, irrepressible riff detectably sharing some musical DNA with another of Christina’s ‘Angels’. I'm just watching this video for the first time today and I am so moved. I don't think I've been this moved by a song in a very long time. I've lost a lot of people lately the opioid epidemic is taking so many of my family and friends and this song has helped me to honor them, remember them, cherish the memories and make every moment count with the people I still have left. Looking thru the comment section I promptly realized what's the story behind this track. Christina and everyone, who's lost their beloved ones, I'm sending out my deepest condolences! My 68 y.o. mother passed away on August, 23, 2023. It feels like I didn't completely recovered after that loss in the last almost 4 months as this is something I never felt before. One part of me tells that I have to move on (my mother herself said the same when her father, my grandpa, passed away in 2018: "Life goes on, we have to move on against all odds!"), while the other part just doesn't know how! May our mothers rest in heaven's peace! Christy, let the music be your remedy, your healer at these hard times and we, your fans, will always support you whatever you do as your angelic voice gives us some hope the good will win in the end, someday.🙏
