It’s a nice makeover, but the materials don’t look high end (glossy white cabinets, porcelain tiles…). How is this fitting the $200k budget? Can easily achieve this for under $50k especially when the vanity unit is kept the same.

Not really and definitely not in California. The glossy cabinets are much more expensive than the normal ones and I think that is what the client wanted.

The $$ went for building the patio as the new shower. Permits, stucco, architects cost a lot of $$

For people who are use to having everything and having it in excess, they seem quite happy with the result. The whole revamp, although very glamorous, the toilet is a bit over the top, turned out beautiful. One can see Christina had $200k to spend!!! I do not like the previous bathroom they had done. That broad gold line was garish, but this one is very much toned down.
