My late Grandma loved this video and Christina for making it. As if I didn't already have enough reasons to love the woman. She always got the REAL message Christina was sending and would say things like "If I had that body I would do the same", and never understood the hate/backlash as she saw it as a young woman discovering herself and enjoying life. I don't think anyone can deny: Christina was insanely HOT during this era. Her tan, her smokey eye-shadow, her barely-there clothes and of course her distinct vocal tone were all irresistibly captivating and I, like millions, couldn't take my eyes off her. A true entertainer for sure!

Iconic video in so many different ways. Glad Kylie's outfit is bringing people here. 2002, being sexual in music videos was still seen as a sin. Shaming that xtina received for this was unbelievable, but the impact is REAL, even 14 years later. She was and still is a true pioneer, never afraid of expressing her sexuality and being herself.

Domenico Zappone her sexuality? So she is gay?
@domenicozappone96648 жыл бұрын
You don't have to be gay to embrace and celebrate your sexuality. She clearly stands for freedom of expression. We all should be free to express our identity without being shamed. The world keeps demonizing women who like to be sexy and confident. She's showing that celebrating your true self is actually empowering. She's the one in charge in the video. That's what I meant.
