I love the silk paint as well but I do put a finish on it. I have found that hemp oil works great on top of it, gives richness to the colour!

Oh my gosh, my home and my two Airbnb‘s are all cabins and I feel like those colors are fantastic. Thank you so much for mentioning that about the stick on wallpaper. Crazy! So I loved the OG-did my son’s Covid desk just like it back then, now…I love the NP (and those colors), I want to flip it like you just did again 😂 he’s moving on to a larger desk since the first was a little old one like this, I’m going to hope he picks some other fun color to try out other than grey or white! I would love to do my Bedroom dresser, mirror and bedside cabinets, just seems like a huge job, because I have no experience painting and re-doing furniture! Is this Silk Paint available in Canada? I’m a green person!!💚my fav color!! Great tip for the inside drawers with double stick tape!! Me personally, I love dark wood with green!! I’d have done voodoo walnut stain BUT that’s what I love!! I love that color it gives me inspiration on what to use for my hutch. I have a quick question. So would I need to prime my hutch since it is a very dark color like expresso brown or will show through fine?

Priming is personal preference- if you don't prime, it may take more coats of paint for the coverage you want. This paint does not require that you use a primer, but sometimes I will prime if I think there is a chance that the old finish will bleed through the paint.

The fun and creativity of painting furniture is using a paint brush. Spraying paint just doesn't appeal to me but it does look good and saves time especially if flipping furniture for profit.

The order of sanding and then cleaning confuses me a bit. Be like peeling an orange, and THEN cleaning it, no? I'm not trying to be facetious-internet-troll-critical guy, just questioning as I'm confused!! Clearly your technique works and produces great results (seriously, looks amazing), am honestly just asking if I'm missing something :) Oh and I'm literally sitting at a desk and working out which of the paints you use there to copy your project with!

Paint with a roller with smooth texture and you will have smooth finish. No brush strokes. I like the confidence of this flipper. No tape and no protective cover on the floor. Don't try this at home.
