This is not what this scripture is about. If you read it in context it is about sin and obedience. Lot’s wife was disobedient. They were told not to look back and she disobeyed and looked back. There is a consequence for sin and disobedience. Luke is talking about the Kingdom of God. Sin and disobedience keep us from God. We must understand we are sinners, we have all sinned against God and deserve hell punishment. But God sent His Son, Jesus, who lived a perfect, sinless life and willingly died on the cross, was buried and rose again 3 days later, paying the penalty we deserve. If we repent of our sin and trust in Jesus, we are saved. We have the hope of the Kingdom of God. We once were disobedient sinners but now we have the hope of eternal life. That is what this passage is about. It is not about looking back in our life and looking forward to all God is going to do for us. Christine is unqualified to teach from the Bible.

Dear Susan, Thank you for sharing your loss with us and how painful this is for you. We have prayed for you, that the Comforter would help you. That’s what Jesus called the Holy Spirit. (John 14:15) The Holy Spirit is the one God gave us to comfort us in all our grief and sorrow. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 assures us: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. He comforts us in all our affliction…” As you pray and process and move through your grief, ask the Holy Spirit to comfort you, and restores your faith. Ask him to show you the way forward, even if that seems unimaginable right now. And know that we have prayed for you according to these verses. Blessings, Team Christine

On February 23, 2016, I had Brain, Neck, and Spinal Surgery because someone thought it would be better for them to drink a 1/5 of a bottle of Whiskey than to go to work that day. Apparently, the surgery went well, but I coded twice while in ICU. The last thing I remember before each code was my Nurse Adam telling me that I needed to take a really deep breath. I was taking 2 breaths per minute. It was my full belief and faithfulness that God and God alone got me through that 5-hour surgery.

Father God . We need you like never before. Hold our family close to you so that all we see is you. We are lost and tossing to and fro . The devil wants to prey on us but nevrrtheless we know that you God wont put more on is than we can bare. You said you will give us beauty for our ashes. So Lord we hold them in our hands and heart. Lord bring us peace in the mist of the storm . We know that you are in the fire with us. So Dear God grant us small miracles to help us get thru this. In Jesus name we pray Amen. PRAY THIS PRAYER AND BELIEVE THAT GOD IS .... READ YOUR BIBLE AND LET GOD LOVE ON YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. YOUR SISTER IN CHRIST IS PRAYING WITH YOU.

The past is useful for giving us wisdom to avoid past traps. But focusing on the past is a trap in itself. You are a new creature in Christ Jesus. Healing from the traumas of the past is a process. Every day in every way, you are getting better and better! Focusing on the Word of God will help you, especially if you get in a good Bible study I learned not to just read the Bible, but to study it. And, now I am focusing on how to apply the direction of the Word of God. Forgiveness of those who hurt us in the past is a great tool for recovering from past wounds. I found the most difficult person to forgive was myself. But with God, all things are possible!
This msg is for me. You got yourself a new follower 👍

It is recorded in the Holy Word, "For He has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed." We also remember Mary and her choice, or at least we should seeing as her "Let it be," ushered forth our Savior.

In listening to the whole message now, I have to say that I have been stuck on this revolving staircase, where I deal with issues of past trauma in one season then I'm fine with that issue but another issue I thought I dealt with arises and I elevated but circle back to the original issue that I've dealt with three years ago but at a different level or area in my life. Like my insecurities in myself. I once believed that I would never in a million years accomplish going to college...fast forward 10 years and I will graduate from a respected SUNY university in May 2024, with a respectable GPA of 3.89 or better, to have the insecurities in myself for being able to obtain gainful employment. I know this seems like the same insecurity issue, but like I said same tune different song. I feel like I have my daddy issues put to bed, and then having to trust my heavenly father is a whole new ballgame set to send me on my axis. Same tune different song. I know in my head how ridiculous I sound to a seasoned Christian. I have what I'm calling a mental block from getting it inside my head to inside my heart. Are there any good scriptures for me to study for this blockage to be eliminated? I've got 3 different studies going. One of yours Reigniting Your Faith, and two of my own. Who I am I Christ and one on Patience. I am also getting the book that you are using in the Reigniting Your Faith devotionals from on Friday to get more enlightenment in this area. I am also getting Joyce Meyer's book on loving people who are hard to love since my father is an important person in my life that I can think of real quick in this area as well as loving imperfect people when I expect perfection from self and others who say they want to be perfect. I'm also doing Bible verses from a daily journal I have that I write in every day, or almost every day depending on how busy and forgetful I get; sometimes my days all run together and I think I did something when In reality I imagined it. As I said the Bible studies I've mentioned are only a tip of what I do for Bible studies, as I'm also doing two for my church that I'm involved in. I will be resigning from one church Bible study to pick up on a new one that goes through the Bible in a year and picks up important details of each book of the Bible. I'm excited to share what I've been learning about Genesis from the Ascension Bible App that I have going as well. Yes, I don't have a life right now...my semester is over as of last Friday and I haven't watched a streamed TV show in over 6 weeks. My life consists of my own Bible studies, Bible studies for the Church, listening to your and Joyce Meyer's KZbin videos, and praying and worshipping. Like I said I have a lot in my head that I believe in my head are true it's just getting this knowledge from my head to my heart...Now if you asked about Joe Schmo from Poedunk USA ABSOLUTELY! He should accept it and here's why type of deal...for me duh are you sure there's nothing I can do to accept it? I know how crazy I must seem, but there is this block and I know I'm on the verge of destroying it, but if there was some magic bullet/verse you could recommend I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks! You are a true gift from God and why I haven't listened to you in the past I don't know! But I'm glad I found you now!

Remember Lot's wife! Wow. She turned to a pillar of salt, I believe because she was too worried about her loved ones in Sodom and Gomorrah. She still had family where she was running from, and in a moment of womanly compassion for her family that got left behind, she was turned into a pillar of salt! What woman, despite warnings to the contrary would not have compassion for her family that is about to be destroyed the way Sodom and Gomorrah were would not have a momentary thought of family left behind?
