I’m gonna share a personal story. As a kid, I remember seeing a report about this on tv (a few years after it occurred) and asking my mom why it happened. She said “the lady was sad, like my sister was.” This was an important story to share and I’m glad you did.

Thank you for sharing that Steve 💔 it is a hard story to share but it is sadly one that is repeated within many families

Thank you for this sobering reminder of how important our mental health is. I have bad anxiety and depression so I understand this very well

It’s so important we care for ourselves, and if we know a family member or friend is not well, that we take every step we need to ensure their safety. Christine’s family did everything they could to get her mental health resources but the one thing he mother said she regretted was not telling her employer about her suicidal ideations for fear she would be fired.

Somehow, I’d never heard of this. How absolutely heartbreaking and for it to occur live on air too?!

It’s an obscure story that has fallen into urban legend territory and I wanted to help share her story on what will be the 50th anniversary, for sure

Maybe, for any Catholics out there, we could pray the Rosary for the repose of Christine's soul. Or we could even request a Mass to be said for her at our local church. Wouldn't that be something. Thank you for the video.

The movie Christine was the first I heard of it. It was an excellent movie. Well done. Good casting. I saw a clip of it on TikTok, then was happy to find it on Netflix. I understand Christine completely. And I don’t blame her a bit.

I just found out about this a few months ago and for some reason this event upset me, The movie was brutal to watch. I wrote a fictional AMA on reddit where a time travel group has to go back and stop this event so she can make a broadcast years later that will have an important change to the world. I figure even if its fiction its a wish that she succeeded in her life's goal, not to become the holy grail of NSFW lost media.
