Exactly. She was 100% Italian. Her real name was Cristina Da Pizzano, later "frenchised" in Christine de Pizan .Her father Tommaso Da Pizzano was a medical doctor and astrologer educated at the prestigious University of Bologna. Cristina moved to France as an infant with her family when her father Tommaso was asked by the king of France to become the court physician.

She did a lot for women, but when we look at her way of thinking it was way different from feminism. Feminism is based on deism or even secularism. The way of thinking of this woman is based on a theistic world view. Her world view is based around religion. Deism and secularism on the other hand are empty, so that they have room for ideologies like feminism. The whole thing is like calling St. Francis a Socialist, because he cared for the poor. It's just not correct.
