I used to read like a book a week sometimes even a book a day, now this year I have read like 5 books total so far. I have been reading a bunch of comics but reading a book is a different, I think it is so hard to pick up a book recently is just because you can't really multitask when reading, where watching tv I can be doing a million things simultaneously

The Summer I Turned Pretty was like a gateway drug to Jenny Han for me! It was absolutely amazing and I still talk about it to this day. Tore through all three books in one week of summer and it was the best week of my life. I sing her praises just as loud as I sing Kasie West's.

Scythe yes!!! That is definitely going to be my birthday present to myself in November. Neal Shusterman is my favorite author. Everyone should read Unwind. It's amazing and his writing is so beautiful and poignant and the story is sheer brilliance.

I think you like the Maximum Ride series. I have read 8 out 9 of them. Have not read the last one yet. Also read the manga version of them as well. There is another series the James Patterson made call the Witch and Wizard there are, I think, five books and I have not yet read The Lost (which is the last one he made, I think).

Tales From the Shadowhunter Academy comes out in print November 15th of this year. Also, I hope that you get to The Summer I Turned Pretty soon.
