+Baa 123 I read that to somewhere. I did buy the mistborn trilogy and steelheart by him before I knew that. But i gotta say. I've read the first two books in the mistborn trilogy, and that is one hell of a good book series. Whilst I may strongly disagree with his homophobic views, that guy is a genius when it comes to writing books. So having read his books now, I can't just not read his other books. I think you can separate the author from their book. Idk. I think I read the article you were referring to. But I think when he said we should interact with other people who have different opinions, I think he may have meant that we should be open to reading books by authors whom have different opinions and be open to reading about different opinions or something like that. You don't have to get his books if you don't want to. I understand. But people do give his books praise for a very good reason. His books, or the ones I read, are phenomenal.

Sophie Luvs Books I agree but I also don't want to support him because of his views. I can appreciate his books separate to him but I would never give him money and buy his books knowing someone with views that are against equality is getting my money. I always see his books at the library and I choose to take them out rather than spending money on him when I can on books that appreciate diversity and have lgbt+ characters in them.
