Christine Stevens is a board certified music therapist creating programs using rhythm and percussion for rehabilitation, health maintenance and life enhancement. As a consultant to Remo HealthRHYTHMS and through her organization, UpBeat Drum Circles, she has facilitated drum groups internationally. She has worked with victims and caregivers at Columbine High School, PS 150 near Ground Zero in New York City, and in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. She recently facilitated drum workshops in Iraq bringing together groups long in conflict with each other. She has recently published a book called ‘Music Medicine: The Science and Spirit of Healing Yourself with Sound’ available everywhere.
