This song is pure art. I can't really find words to describe how huge this masterpiece is. Since the first listening I've been thinking about it and imagining a lot. And immediately wanted to hear this with piano and play and sing it myself as well. Chris is a genius, a treasure.

Pure vulnerability. This album is an important piece of music in terms of theme, musicality, and existential expression. Well worth a few listens. Personally, over and over. Je vous adore. Merci

This album is like nothing else, absolutely stunning. I hope Chris is okay - his vulnerability has always been his power, but this album his emotions feel really raw.

@@winter2may (s)he has expressed to want to be referred to as him.
@winter2may Жыл бұрын
@JNL76 Christine wants to be a him..playing with words do not change who one is, indeed it dilutes her work/artistry and the narrative lost, obscuring the powerful She..Her work has become meaningless...He, Her, Him She...if she feels that by saying him it reinforces something or reflects some construct so be it but her work has now lost its intensity...
@JNL76 Жыл бұрын
@@winter2may I am so sorry you feel that way :( . But I think I understand your point. To you she lost the powerful womanfigure in her art and I partly agree with that. Though I also think it can be interesting to see where this transition goes. Sincerily, I personally don't care what someone wants to be called, Prince suddenly wanted to be named "the symbol" but to me he'd always be Prince. So for me Christine will be Christine and I still love the voice, lyrics and music. Thereby I think she is free to do whatever she wants in her private life, whenever it is respectful to others. But again, I understand your point.

Ce mec a un talent immense qui transcende tout, cette chanson n'est pas facile à placer, il faut beaucoup d'audace. En piano-voix elle est encore plus sensible.

I know it’s cliche’ .. but I just got out of an “on again off again” relationship. Almost 7 years.. I was so understanding and looked past so many things, made a fool of myself, constantly telling friends and family I could make it work .. just to be thrown out like trash with all my things .. I love this song, because it reminds me of all the good things I held on to, all the reasons I had stayed.. even tho there were so many reasons stacked up against me to just give up .. I should have listened, but sometimes I think we find peace in the worst people .. lesson learned, and I’m grateful for this song .. Miss our days on the water, and hopefully she sees one day what she had in me, and will think of me fondly .. I tried very hard..you can’t force or convince someone to be in love with you tho .. sometimes, as hard as it may be, you just have to let them go, and let them be their selves ..and save yourself as well..

Christine, you are fantastic. And i love you. De miguel.
A day in the water Do you want to spend a day Just a day in the water Just a day like no other When nothing hurts your skin, yeah? Do you want to know? Do you want to feel the sun But the sun from underwater? Nothing burning your shoulders Nothing hurts within, yeah Do you want to know? Deeper, and the deeper, and the deeper, and the deeper that I go Softer, it gets softer, it gets softer, it gets softer, I don't know Father, oh, father, oh, father, oh, father, let me go I don't want it no more I hear them talking about it It sounds like the same old song I see they worry about it I'm so far ago, they can't be wrong I know it's obvious I'm flying from what I can see So let me be Let me Do you want to spend a day (want to spend a day in the water?) And just stay in the water And then taking another (no, oh, I can't take no more) Yeah Do you want to know? You'll never know what it's like To be just underwater And it looks like a mirror But it blurs it all, yeah Do you want to know? Deeper, and the deeper, and the deeper, and the deeper that I go Softer, it gets softer, it gets softer, it gets softer, I don't know Father, oh, father, oh, father, oh, father, let me go I don't want it no more I hear them talking about it It sounds like the same old song I see they worry about it I'm so far ago, they can't be wrong I know it's obvious I'm flying from what I can see So let me be Let me be Deeper, and the deeper, and the deeper, and the deeper that I go Softer, it gets softer, it gets softer, it gets softer, I don't know Father, oh, father, oh, father, oh, father, let me go
