I love that you protect your evenings. As a fellow introvert, I just can't manage the rushing from activity to activity. I love being home with my kids ❤

I love to keep my homeschool week flexible so that if anything changes it’s ok as we can pick up as where we are!!! We separate family subjects by younger kids and older kids but do some of this as a family where we can!!!

Your schedule is my aspiration. 😅 We’re getting there. I will say my oldest is 7… and then I have a 3 and a 1 year old. Our mornings just fly by with food, chores, play and reading.. but the bulk of “school” for my son is while the 2 littles nap after lunch. But then he and I don’t really get any quiet time and that can be hard.

Those days of balancing homeschooling while caring for babies/toddlers were some of my most challenging. It gets much easier with time!

It was a thrift store find and the lady who served me was so concerned that I was buying it because she thought it was awful. Haha!

You are a beautiful soul and I'm thankful to have found your channel! My boys are 6, 4, and 2. My youngest feels he NEEDS to do school because he sees his brothers learning lol I'm trying to meet his needs before schooling my older two that way he feels included, but without actually doing schoolwork with him. We just moved around 800 miles away from all of our friends and family, so we are trying to adjust and get into a better rhythm. I look forward to seeing more of your other videos!

I find my 2 year old boy is happy to just have some paper and his colouring crayons while I teach my 5 year old girl. They then go off to play together while I teach my 7 year old boy. The 2 year old also enjoys listening and joining in with my daughter’s phonics lessons.

I would love a cleaning routine video. Also would be interested in hearing about what chores look like for your children, as you mentioned that a couple of times in your homeschool day. I have vacillated between keeping my kids on a particular chore so that they can master it (and it’s easier for me 😅 to not have to manage and double check their work constantly) versus switching up chores to produce more well-rounded abilities; and whether to pay them for their work and teach money skills vs you are a resident of this home therefore you get to contribute.

I’d love to hear your cleaning routine! My kids are in year 4, year 3, and year 1. I also have two toddlers tagging along. I was also nervous about this year with having 3 school aged children, but it’s going pretty good! Love watching your videos and this sounded like such a great schedule.

We also have homeschool park meetups on Tues and Wed so those days we do less school. Mon and Thurs is heavy days. Sometimes we may schedule dentist appointments and whatnot on those days but its not often. If so, we do school in the afternoons. Fri we recently starting going to homeschool drop in skating which is at an awful lunch hour of 12-1pm so that day we do super short school to fit in early lunch. Its like 5-8 mins from home so we dont eat on the go.

We have three children, two boys 2 and 7 and a girl 5. I would like to know more about how you teach group subjects. I can’t imagine teaching science to my 7 year old boy at the same time as the 5 year old girl. Also as soon as my children wake up they want to eat breakfsst...no way would they stay in their rooms knowing I am already up and about. This is hard for me because I really need to start the day quietly and contemplative. Knowing how you fit non homeschool related duties into the daily schedule would also be very helpful.

I'd love to hear about your cleaning routine! I feel like mine is always changing so I love hearing ideas from other moms. An unrelated questions I had for you - what kind of mic do you use while you're filming? I have tried a couple and I don't like how they sound (very much like a tin can) but then whenever I film without one I feel like my space has too much of an echo.

It's the Comica Audio Vimo C1 Series. It's a dupe for the much more expensive Rode mic. I've been very happy with it. :)
