Jolly good show. I didn't realize that the organ bench and the immediate space (what little there is) has no "protective railing." I don't have a fear of heights per se but it reminds me of St. Mary's RC in Memphis where that so called "railing" comes up to the lower part of one's spine. I proceeded with caution. A cornucopia of Sundays after Epiphany will commence shortly.

I wouldn't count on it. Just getting the organ cleaned (again!) after the fire, probably cost a fortune.

Great playing! At the Christmas Eve service, I believe you played a postlude based off the closing hymn -- is that correct? Was that improvised? In any case, that was amazing as well!

I played this too but to be honest I think it’s one of the worst pieces Bach wrote. It’s just a written down improv (and not a very good one). The crass triplets on the second page are like an exhausted man running up a stairs. I wonder if it was even written by JSB at all, possibly a student, or maybe a very early work. It lacks sophistication.
