I did that reverse weeding once trying to figure out how to transfer my design and not screw it up and I had NO idea there was a name for it. Thank you for reminding me about this technique because I definitely forgot ♡♡♡

Hello Marjorie! You could, however sometimes it does leave a frosted look since they are clear - you could always add some paint to the back after subbing! 😊

Oh how I needed this today!!!! I bought mine from Amazon a pk of 18 for $5. I am making tags for our stockings. I wanted to use glitter vinyl that I bought at dollartree.... I know I know.... but I designed a precious design not super intricate but not bold either. I couldn't keep my letters on the backing as I weed! I was so frustrated!!!!! I like glitter, but I can't find a glitter vinyl that works! Maybe if I try reverse weeding I won't lose my Ts or my holy berries! I shall try again in the am! Thank you so much! 💓💓 💗 💓💓💓
