Recently found this pastor and see he points to the cross and Jesus.. I’m surprised that he still endorses Christmas as this was one of the first things the Lord instructed me to stop taking part in.

This is why I'm drawn to this preacher/teacher. The way you just made me look at Christmas in a delightful way. Because I never celebrate Christmas but no one has ever but in that way. The history of the holidays was made up by men by people who hated black people. It's hard to put that aside. On the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving we were not part of these holidays. I can see what the preacher is saying. Because it's one of two days of Easter being another made up holiday with bunnies and eggs. That has nothing to do with Jesus. So this Christmas I'm giving presents to my family. But I don't want anything I'm just trying to be closer to Jesus❤❤❤

Everyone, we know the biblical TRUTH this man preaches. But let’s not forget that we all celebrated Christmas at some point in our lives and that GOD opened our eyes too. Let’s pray for our brother because he is truly GOD’s servant. I 1000% believe that, but maybe his time for revelation hasn’t come yet and I believe it will come for Pastor Philip and everyone in The Body in GOD’s time. Mine was in 2020. We were in the process of buying our first home - a new build 🙌🏽 - and had designed our livingroom and set up the electrical outside for Christmas morning, decorations and everything. Near the end of everything before closing, the Holy Spirit lead me (and I STILL can’t remember what the catalyst was! Lol) to look up why we do the things we do during Christmas and what I discovered was devastating but it was an automatic no brainer. I could no longer honor The Son of GOD on a day that was chosen by men to celebrate the birth of a sun god. I guess the Catholics thought the word play was cute. Smh. Sinister work. So let’s intercede and pray that GOD will effectually lead him to the dark truths of the origins and the customs of Xmas if He hasn’t already. In Jesus name. Love to you all. Amen.

Respectfully, we don’t know the exact date that Jesus was born. The American and Jewish calendars aren’t even the same. But outside of being technical, there is a day that we recognize the birth of Savior. We should celebrate his arrival…. Now what the world has turned what is supposed to be the celebration of the birth of Christ into is something that we do not have to come into agreement with. Christians should know how to celebrate his birth without conforming to the pagan ways and reasoning.

The problem with this is his subtle approach to this message. The Bible speaks against idolatry. This is the same as the serpent in the garden. Using God's word to deceive man. The Devil can only tempt you with something you desire. People are affiliated with Christmas because they were born into it, so any message that condones it will be received wholeheartedly, especially when you use the element of God. The reason he used birthday celebrations is to tap into your emotions. If God said don't do it, then don't do it. This is the same as the serpent. Watch how many women support this message. It's an old trick, people.
