Totally understand the wanting to cry when you think of all the traditional Christmas stuff. It always makes me think of my childhood Christmases with my Grandparents. We took our 4 year old to see Elf at the cinema and I literally burst into tears at the end when Santa's sleigh took off over New York because my son was so excited and his face just lit up when he saw the sleigh flying! So emotional and I knew he felt the Christmas magic that I always felt when I was a kid at Christmas

Such an exciting time... My son is 11 on Wednesday and still believes in the magic and spirit of Christmas.... We as mum and dad have always gone all out every single year with traditions and magic. I have to say the older he has got the more difficult it becomes to keep the magic alive for him and I do believe this will be the last year which is heartbreaking to me... Sky have the Christmas scenes again this year and are on now! one of them is a snowy night time scene with Santa flying across the full moon and his sleigh bells are jingling. We put it on one year on Christmas morning for the girls to enter the living room to open their gifts (I always go in first to switch tree lights on, put TV on for music or something, set camera up etc) then we put a Christmas film on. It was so magical 😊

It is too early for Christmas tree and decorations, because I love December and that period, but how can I not love you and your happiness describing all of this. You are the perfect Santa's daughter. You are a true Christmas spirit and UK has all the possible Christmas decorations. That Advent calendar with books is amazing. I wish I could find something like that where I live cause my boy is not really into books, but I think that will be a great way to make him stay still and read for him. And their no such thing as :we don't need anything! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Every year I read The Night Before Christmas to my children. They are now 28 and 31 so it's usually over the phone and I cry. The book is a pop up one from the 50p shop which pre dated Poundland 😊

Lovely haul. I live in Germany and we decorate a gingerbread house every advent. We have lots of Christmas-Advent traditions we do them on each Advent Sunday leading up to Christmas. Ha ha ha You getting the teddy bedding out made me smile. It´s such a you thing to be excited about this. I feel you on loving the window stickers. My mother always used to hang stickers and selfmade paper decorations into the window. The cup really has the perfect shade of green. Got mine out yesterday and made myself a tea with Baileys. Ha ha ha that stationery pack is too cute and it reminds me cutting out pictures and clueing them to my letter. I bet your son will love all those small traditions.
