I'm actually GLAD Netflix dropped her show. I don't like Netflix and wasn't about to pay to continue keeping Netflix after the free trial. It actually worked out because now more people can watch Christine and be exposed to her ingenuity without having a Netflix subscription. She was better and above Netflix.

Netflix has been slacking so bad lately. They cut your show and others that actually were good to watch. My 9 year old cried when I told her your show was canceled because she loved rose.

Netflix doesn't seem to like or encourage niche entertainment?! The show would have taken off IF they were given a second season to grow a little more & develope. Too many wonderful things are shut down just as they begin to shine. We're all stuck with shitty 'reboots' & 'old movies'. Maybe someone else will see the show & give it another go? My youngest and I watched the series probably half a dozen times together. She is a big Rose fan too and LOVES TO bake and craft. Christine is her hero.

So when reading into the cancellation of BoJack Horseman and all of the giant list of other extremely popular main stream shows they cancelled, Jessica Jones, Marco Polo, Luke Cage, Daredevil, ECT. Netflix is having some budget issues. But Netflix does make and support niche contact more so then traditional television or Hollywood, like Special a show about an LGBTQ main character who is physically disabled. Like They also promoted the crap out of it. They made BoJack Horseman, who knew what kind of appeal that would have when it started. Frankie and Grace, a comedy show about women over the age of 70 dealing with sex and romance and has amazing elderly LGBTQ+ characters. Master of none a comedy series about the romance of an Indian American guy. Atypical about an autistic teenager, trying to figure out dating. She-Ra a children's show that has LGBTQ+ characters. Dear White People Orange is the New Black, when it first came out.... Network/cable TV doesn't though these ideas. Like Netflix shows us and stars representation of characters network TV and hollywood would never even think about. Like in ways that people don't think about them ever living their lives, like people with disabilities dating. They also funded this show in the first place and they probably didn't see enough people watching it, like they do still need to make money. They probably didn't advertise for it either but also couldn't figure out how to. Like adult puppets DIYs dark humor kink, I'm in love with it and I don't really know how to sell it to my friends besides saying just watch this. I just found this show 2 weeks ago and I'm mad I didn't know sooner. Was the audience spreading word of mouth either? I would also argue that KZbin is a better platform for super niche contact, but Netflix still does support it. Yes there has been lots of demonetization and other issues, no place is prefect but the contract can still get out there.

@@alenemarie Yeah they still seem to be the best of the paid streaming services though considering Hulu is owned by Disney and evil Monopoly who like killed copyright law for the worst of everyone. And prime is owned by Jeff Bezos. And KZbin premium is owned by Google, another Monopoly. So the Netflix seems to be least evil. PBS passport is probably the most wholesome streaming service considering it's a $5 a month donation to your local PBS station...

i was understandably upset when i found out that netflix cancelled your show, but then when i discovered your youtube channel it became incredibly apparent that you had a ton of creative control over the series. so while i'm sure the funding you received from netflix was nothing to laugh at, i'm glad to see that they weren't really responsible for the essence of the show because it makes it possible for you to simply continue with your vision on your youtube channel. i'd much rather creators like yourself be in control of your art and vision and i'm so happy that patreon has allowed you the freedom to do precisely that! thank you for all of your hard work and for sharing your skills and gifts and talents with all of us.

I absolutely loved the Netflix show, it made me so happy every time I watched. This series makes me feel warm and cozy and feels so personal and lovely. It has a lot to do with the aesthetics, but also I feel it helps you don’t have a corporate team looking over your shoulder at every turn.

I still don't understand why Netflix canceled this show. It's hysterical, gloomy and fun to watch. Christine and her crew are brilliant! And, It's so much better then most of the crappy Netflix movies, they waste their money on. It's nice to be able to dig in deeper, with the people who helped put all this together. I remember watching the show back in college in October and now I would watch it every time or if it’s spooky month. My favorite episode from the show would be when she met the serial killer as she was having a picnic in the graveyard at her grandma’s grave because in a way it was romantic for her to have a guy who appreciates her creepy style. I loved every episode of her crafting, sewing, and cooking so many things. I hope someday a season 2 will come.

I discovered you on youtube first well after your show had been canceled , but than went and binged it. I love the grumpy kitty character the most and the sexy axe murderer was a nice touch too. Over all i love your new content more because you have such a range of interesting crafts and the camera work is phenomenal.

I fell in love with the show the moment I saw the little teaser on Netflix. Something about it just spoke to the person I am and I keep under wraps some, so to speak. I had my mom (whom I take care) watch it with me and she didn't understand it at first, but seeing my light up watching it opened her eyes to the person I am. We've actually talked about me making like the eye ball cookies and taking them to family functions because that is something I would do like making her red velvet frog pops for her birthday this year. I would have loved to see a season two. Like many I had been hoping for a season two. But in the end I was able to see that I'm not alone in the macabre things I enjoy. Finding you helped me to embrace who I really am and not care what others think about it. Thank you and Happy Holidays!

This could have been the beginning of so many things besides many many seasons, a movie or movies, books, a musical, killer merchandise, tours of the haunted set and house.
