Watching this reminded me how special Christmas is when kids are involved. There haven’t been any little kids at our family Christmases for quite a few years, and while they are still enjoyable, they aren’t quite as magical as they are when there are children around. There is something to be said, however, for a smaller group of people at Christmas dinner. We had half as many as you did, and that was perfectly fine. Everybody pitched in (I made a pumpkin pie), and our Christmas dinner was delicious, just as yours appeared to be. I hope you were able to chill out a little more today (I’m never quite sure what people in the UK do for Boxing Day) and recover from the busyness that is Christmas.

Awwwwwwwwww my fave video so far !!! Lovely seeing the little ones being so exited and opening prezzies ! That's what it's all about , tho it's not about the presents under the tree but the people around it !! I initially frowned at all of your frozen food haul when you bought it for Xmas dinner , but it all looked damned gorgeous d on the day . Just a tip though , just cook it all and let them all help themselves , buffet style .. it works well . Lovely to see YOUR mum nick but you can tell she was s shy of the camera millarky . Could see ya dads pain Leigh as he was sitting propt up with his cushions ... bless Lovely end with you an nick closely snuggling up . .... and yeeeeesssssss , I'm also pissed on my prossecco as I watch a bit of lodge time on Boxing Day . Christmas morning as children we would have breakfast first then we would only allowed to open one present before church, to take with us, so it would be about 10.30am before we could start opening our presents, absolute torture 😀hope you all have a great Christmas x

Merry Christmas to you both, late I know , the first chance I have had to watch. I always host the Xmas lunch and a few years ago I brought a couple of food servers. Each sever as three seperate dishes. I put the roasts in the slow cooker on warm once they are cooked. Everyone goes along and helps theirselves. Everything is kept warm and no waste as they only take the items they like. Giant thermos of gravy and job done. 😀

Lovely to see you and your family and friends. I am recently widowed but always made Christmas parties and dinners to the hilt. This year was very nice but bittersweet ,still I made many traditional things and dinner was yummy. I got somewhat hammered on Christmas eve on brandy Alexanders but am feeling better.
